About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Good game. Like the first but more.
Fun if you want to just shoot at stuff without much reason. Go to settings and turn off character dialog. You'll still be able to hear it if you really focus. But not hearing them callout Hotshot and having to hear Raptor, makes the game more enjoyable.
I don't mind the characters at all, but the writing and delivery of some voice lines is.. not great. Some weapon sounds are incredible and you can feel the impact, others? not so much. That being said, the game is super fun, haven't had too many issues playing, and there is a lot to unlock/play around with. I imagine updates will make this game much better, and it is needed, but it still is pretty fun as-is. needs improvement on: optimization sound effects QoL options (skip/mute dialog would be sick) when healing another player using a medkit, the option to do so is finnicky some areas in missions can potentially lock a player out if they fell behind/were looking for loot

Everything!!!
Don't take much notice of the negative reviews people. Yes, there are some bugs, but they aren't game breaking bugs. Cold Iron are a relatively small team. They've just released a massive patch update, showing that they are listening to the community. Visually, the game is stunning. Love the improved classes, better synth bot behaviours, and the way you only need to buy an item once wins me over. The Xeno behaviours are also a nice improvement. I'm running the game on high quality, with consistent 60 frames. Yes at times, I get frame drops, but it's not as bad as some people are making out. I'm running a 10yo CPU and GPU and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well optimised the game really is compared to what others are experiencing.
De momento me parece bueno. Gráficamente se ve bien y jugablemente también. 15 mapas parecen pocos, esperemos que pongan más. Algún que otro problema con el buscador de grupos, pero pocos. Es bastante jugable.
More of the first. Better looking and fun with friends
other than some very minor day 1 hiccups, it runs great! tons of FUN!!! ALL the nostalgia of the franchise! 1000% WORTH the buy [at least in the states] :_( Was provided a copy of the game for free by Daybreak Games, and will be playing it with my fireteam until we 100% the game! Hoorah!
The game starts off somewhat slow, although once you get to mission 5.XX and above the actual strategy and gameplay mechanics shine. This is by far the best gameplay loop in the series. The amount of customization and technical min maxxing is on another level. On the same token if you want to set the difficulty to easy you can still run and gun the entire campaign. Every aspect of the game has been improved besides the obnoxious "girl bosses" that you are required to speak with on the ship. Other than the bad story and writing the game is perfect in the world of Alien.
