About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

GAY STORY, GAY CAPTIAN, but the gameplay is decent. For 50 dollars, it looks like ♥♥♥♥ and doesnt give enought content.
I'm a hardcore fan of Aliens, I wanted to like this game so bad, but the dialogue and voice acting is unforgivably awful. The gameplay is an improvement from the first game, but this doesn't feel like Aliens. Go play Aliens: Dark Descent over this.
It's in such a bad state right now! (Release date review) I loved part 1 honestly, and spent hours on that game. The replay value on that was amazing. Now given I do have SO much more to do in this game that I haven't really explored yet, but I'm doing so with very broken... well... everything at the moment. I had lobbies just stay idle for a long time because a player wouldn't either load in, or just couldn't find one. I got kicked from a game because "the host left/dropped" from the game. I tried searching for a new lobby with a certain mission selected, and it kept looping me back to the ship. In-game? I can't interact with A LOT of things for some reason! Can't pick up intel, or crates. The connection (with it being peer-to-peer in 2026 WTH!) is HORRIBLE! The impact of the bullets on the aliens feel veeeery low budget this time, like a mobile game. They're spongy even on standard, and ammo runs out fast on the main guns! Also, I cannot reload my gun for some reason. I have to waste the clip, to have the automatic reload kick in. The technical list truly goes on. The story? Cringe, and uninteresting. I don't want to refund the game, because I do have high hopes that this will get better with time. For now, I would suggest saving your money till things become a bit more... positive.
Not fun. Refunded. The dialogues and voice lines are disastrous.
This game has the potential to be a great game and I hope that I am proven wrong. When this game was announced i was immediately excited as I have put over 100 hours into the first game and thoroughly enjoyed it. This game has some great combat and its class design system is very well thought out, I especially enjoy the Specialist class. However there are some very significant issues some which can be easily remedied . Firstly the balance for players playing alongside bots is troublesome and leaves many enemies feeling like gigantic bullet sponges that you can sit there emptying magazines into with little to no effect, this could be easily fix through a scaling system based on the number of human players there are. This will continue to be a problem as the playerbase is not as large as was intended. Secondly some of the weapon sounds I found to be quite flat and disapointing, this IP has a nostalgic core that appeals to those who enjoy its setting and to not include the iconic weapon sounds shows both a lack of effort to create a game true to it's setting and a lack of interest in what the players really want. Now onto the more glaring issues the voicelines and character design are disapointing to the point where I wish I had not put the hours I have into this game which is a first for my experience enjoying games that are not popular; like Aliens Colonial Marine and Dawn of War 3, I am usually very unbothered by such things. The voice lines such as this direct quote "You pew-pewed those xenos like it was nothing!" are so immersion breaking and dissapointing it ruins the joy that could be had from this, be aware this is one of many examples of such voice lines not the exception. Along side this the character designs are exceptionally questionable. Firstly the fact that you are going to save the best of the best and that none of those you save seem like they can fight and are all logistical or command positions seems like a poor choice in narrative. Secondly the Marines cool identitiy is almost completely lost in this as everyone is abundantly happy constantly with no changes in tone or situational awareness creating a complete lack of soul or identity. I will state again i hope this game makes some lasting changes and works towards fixing these glaring issues however i cannot find myself recommending a game that I wish I had not spent time or money on and that I wish I could refund it.
I could forgive the incredibly on the nose obvious woke storytelling. (It's literally "them" with "the haircut" and all women with all the usual woke ♥♥♥♥) I could excuse this being basically DLC priced at full price as if it's a whole new game. (It's not, literally everything is ripped from the first game) But I can't excuse how piss poor unplayable the game is. The fps drops, the lag, the stuttering, the poor core shooting feedback and experience, the lackluster level design, the TERRIBLE AI VOICES AND CHARACTER ANIMATIONS. We have brains. We are not your GOY sheep. Get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with this slop. Western gaming is doomed and dead. Thank god for Asia. If you must get this, get it on a massive, MASSIVE sale. 50$? HAHAHAHAHA...I've never done drugs, but I sure am curious what they were taking when they thought 50$ was a good price for this lmao
I love the Aliens franchise, and I enjoyed the first Fireteam Elite, but this is not worth $50 and it certainly isn't worth $70 for the Premium Edition. Having paid DLC available on day one doesn't help. The gameplay itself is okay. I'm having fun playing it with friends, but nothing I've seen so far makes this feel like a $50 game. Graphically, it's also just okay. There are some surprisingly noticeable little details that hurt the presentation. The shotgun, for example, doesn't appear to be gripped correctly. It looks like the same generic hand position used for the larger weapons, leaving a visible gap between your character's fingers and the grip. Another thing that bothers me is where the Xenomorphs emerge from walls and ceilings. It's just big black holes. There's no real depth or texture behind them, so instead of looking like an opening into a vent, tunnel, or damaged section of an area, it looks like exactly what it is: a spawn point. The first game did this too, so it isn't necessarily a step backward, but it's something I hoped the sequel would improve. And OH MY GOD, the dialogue. There is so much pointless, uninteresting dialogue, and the voice acting does absolutely nothing to save it. Characters talk and talk without saying anything I actually care about. I find myself wanting them to shut up so I can get back to shooting Xenomorphs and honestly I've just hit W to get through all the dialogue anymore. One improvement over the first game is the sound design. The weapons sound considerably better, which I appreciate. Gunfire has more impact and that helps the combat. The performance problems are there, especially in the first mission, which is more surprising as you'd expect that one to be the most polished. At $30, I could overlook a lot of these annoyances and recommend it pretty easily. At 50% off, absolutely. At $50 to $70? No. The only reason I bought it at launch is because my friends bought it and we wanted something to play together. If they hadn't, I would have waited for a sale. If you can wait, wait.
