About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Little janky but fun.
its really fun game but its very buggy so hopefully they fix it
This game doesnt deserve the hate it got... its a building block from the first FTE which has alot of potential. Squad play is tight and intense as it should be - worth a chance if the hours are invest as it does get better the more you play it.
It's more of Aliens Fireteam Elite with some more weapon customizations. Fun coop shooter. Don't mind the players b*tching about the price and giving it a negative review. Those idiots probably voted for Trump, and had their purchasing power decline by more than 12%. You get what you deserve.
If you liked the first, you'll like this one. Tighter gunplay and a better customization system than the last one. 15 missions (not 6 - there are 6 chapters) and horde mode after beating campaign. A couple bugs at launch, some weird choices like locking the classic pulse rifle to level 10. Fun for what it is, even more fun with friends.
If you enjoyed the first Fireteam game, this game is more of that but with one extra player on the team. If you haven't played the first game and wanted to get an idea on how the game plays; The gameplay will feel very janky compared to newer games released within the last few years.
AFE2 can atmospheric be compared with the First Game. The Gfx reminds to AFE1, but it's updated with DLSS and runs smooth on my Rig. AFE2 can be better cfg to the User's liking, FOV, Aiming, 3rd-Person-View, that's nice. Weaker HW can run this game, too. Tested it even with Ryzen7 2700x/32GB/Rtx5060Ti/M2 at Gfx-High/DLSS-Quality Setting. But some stuttering should be expected, it needs more optimization to run complete steady. Stuttering occurs between Map-Areas or large Enemy presence. I played AFE2 together with a mate, tactical no rush. 22hrs in and we haven't completed the campaign yet. 15 Missions & Prolog are quite challenging, still on normal difficulty. Hordes of Xeno's/Synt's coming for you, AFE1 against is a joke. As we gamed we had ONE Crash, apart from this it was nice. Day One Patch, fixed for us some minor Bugs we also partly encountered. There's still an annoying Enemy-Turret Audioloop that should get fixed, too. A bit more Char-Customization would be nice. https://www.daybreakgames.com/press/afe2/article/afe2-82526-patchnotes For me personally there's also too much wokeness in this game. It's Aliens, not Aliens-Next-Top-Model, so it should be more rough. Too much women/trans/synth to men ratio, the story also really lacks tough guys like Drake/Hicks and so on. Also there isn't much to interact with on the USS Endeavour, it's very empty and static, you`re in one Room...you can't explore anything...smaller than AFE1. You see some assets, none to interact with...very sad. The same for the maps, they're pipe-like. Even if your Char could get visual to an open area, you can't, annoying. And often you don't find anything special if once there's a room/hidden area beside you to examine. What really sucks is, if you rescued or searched for someone(cutscene related) in the story-missions, those NPC's won't be a temporal extended part of your team in any way. Those NPC's don't be with you physical(nor to protect or assist etc) and that kills any immersion related to the story. So many chances...but no. I see many Chances wasted for no reason to make more out of such title, that's very sad. And i would expect it nowadays, to make 'more out of it' if you use the Alien-Universe for a game title. MY CONCLUSION: Gaming is challenging but cool, Skills nice and much to equip and tune. The Story lacks many things, Immersion first of all. The same to most Map-Area's, they are too restricted, the Ship has Immersion to "Zero". Cause there are everywhere only very static assets...graphical in good condition, but static. Nothing that you can do, hear, see, interact with...it has no Feeling!!! And that can nowadays be done much better, really...it's an absolute SHAME!!! If you want Coop-Action...Killer-Bugs stalking & chasing you: Buy it! If you want real Alien-Franchise-Feeling: It's not what you expect, better buy Alien Isolation or Colonial Marines. SPOILER: Who reviewed AFE2 that "The O-Pulserifle-Sound" were missing: Yes if you play not far enough in Campaign, it will ever be missing for you! If you get farther you`ll get the CLASSIC inc. Iconic Sound & Grenadelauncher. But this seems only to be a reward for a real gamer... What i had to read across the reviews(only 0,5-4hrs ingame) could be typical D-A-U & whining or else. Many of those absolute negative reviews don't match entirely what i gamed for 22hrs, despite that i haven't such uptodate HW-Setting.
Aliens Fireteam Elite but improved in every way.
