About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

The gameplay is actually really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good, which makes this even more frustrating. The weapons feel great, the Xenomorphs are fun to fight, and underneath everything there's a solid Aliens game here. Unfortunately, apparently I didn't enlist in the Colonial Marines. I accidentally joined an emotional-support group that happens to carry pulse rifles. Every five minutes I'm being briefed by another female marine character who feels like she was recruited by the marine Corp DEI program. I'm waiting for my next mission objective to be “Destroy the Xenomorph hive, then report to HR for your mandatory wellbeing check-in.” And then there's calling a clearly female commander “sir.” Come on. Nothing screams gritty futuristic military immersion quite like LGBTQ activism. “Sir, Xenomorphs have breached the perimeter!” “Excellent. Before engaging, Marines, please use the toilet, and remember that Weyland-Yutani values diversity, inclusion and psychological safety. Remember, correct pronouns are a marines safe space" Alien never needed this crap. Ripley became one of cinema's greatest female protagonists because she was a brilliant character, not because the audience needed to be repeatedly reminded that somebody had satisfied a representation spreadsheet. Give me believable characters. Give me Marines who actually feel like Marines. Give me commanders who sound like they belong commanding soldiers into a Xenomorph-infested deathtrap. I came here to kill aliens, not attend Weyland-Yutani's annual Women in Leadership seminar.

So many bugs, game keeps crashing. Levels will not progress at certain points, achievement trackers won't progress, etc. This game had the potential to be better and instead has glitches and issues than the latest Call of Duty game
Grafik und Gameplay sind weder besser noch schlechter als beim Vorgänger. Manchmal hat es ein paar Hänger, was wie gewohnt an der UE5 liegen könnte.
I have to give this game a positive reveiw but only by the skin of its teeth. In camparison to the first game I would say it is a decent succesor but doesn't do anything groundbreakinly new. More weapons, an extra team member and a wider variety of enemies are about the only addition, as well as actually animated npc dialogue however their god awful corny dialogue and demeanor discredits that entirely. Gameplay wise, there are a lot of stutters and friendly and enemy ai seem to struggle with tasks and pathing even though they said they improved it from the previous game. I've also dropped out of a fair few games without any explainable reason. But that being said, I can't in good faith give a game an overwhelmingly negative review based on bugs that will probably be ironed out in the first few patches. What really pushes me to dislike this game is the price. With DLC, the previous game totaled a cost of around $55 Australian dollars. The base price for this game, without deluxe add ons or future dlc, being $80 AUD is absolutelty disgusting. Without any meaningful addition to the franchise or overall content of the series, I cannot see how they justify the price, especially seeing as how the first game wasn't a particuarly overwhelming success that would justify such a premium price. If you are a fan of the Alien franchise or enjoyed the first game, definitely give this a go, but absolutely wait for a steam sale and hope that servers aren't dead by then. Overall rating: 6.5/10 (Pre any bug fixes)
Was it worth 49.99 at launch defiantly worth 30 or 40$ is it fun yes very fun is it optimized yes, I didn't play the first one so having a good time with this one.
This game needs work. Writing is sub par, leaning heavily on the Alien franchise catch phrases, repeating them so much you consider bailing in the middle of a mission. First three characters you meet are butch lesbian looking characters, like the writers didn't know how to create anything else. The game should have been first person. They put you in tight spots with 3 other idiots constantly walking in front of your crosshairs for no apparent reason other than their ADHD. There is some light. The meat and potatoes of the gameplay is fun, but rough.
Even you can rebind keys in theory they don't work ingame. If you're left handed you're screwed if you want using arrow keys since only left arrow is working. Game stutters constantly making it not a joy to play. And if you wanted the OG sounds of your M4A1 you even have to unlock first or the smart gun? You won't get it here. They sound kinda but definitly not the og sounds. The most iconic sounds in the Alien franchise and it's not here. For now it just not fun. Primarily the lack of rebindable keys and the stuttering.
I mean it's fine. It's more of the same with some decent improvements. Its still pretty jank but on higher difficulties with more gear unlocked its super fun. There are some forced dialogue sections you have to do to unlock more missions and they really are as truly awful as everyone is saying. Not enough to vote the game down unless you are a complete baby but they do suck. Fun swarm shooter overall though.
Oh man.
