Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

It's fun until the bugs stop you from being able to play the game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I mean no, it's not a difficult game, it's just annoying to start again and again because you did not do a crit that time. Too punitive. It's 2026 guys, you need to evolve. Also, the game is so bugged... I had to permanently bench my main character that had a drone because the game kept stucking my drone into a wall and I couldn't proceed through elevators. That major bug has been reported more than a year ago and it's still not fixed.
I really wanted to like this game. It effectively uses the Aliens setting to inject some interesting wrinkles into a familiar X-Com formula, the look and tone of the game is perfectly in line with the vibes of the franchise, and the mechanics really make it play differently than a typical X-Com clone. Unfortunately, it's catastrophically buggy (no pun intended). For awhile I was willing to work around the constant faltering pathfinding, stuck animations, broken autosaves and random detection system. Eventually though, these bugs reached a critical mass preventing me from progressing at all. I could no longer rest to save the game, or lose my "detected" status to interact with the objective, or even leave the mission because the elevator no longer worked. A complete restart of the game did not resolve this. This was the point at which I had to throw up my hands and admit I hadn't been having fun with this game for awhile. I really respect the ideas brought to the table here, but there is a crippling lack of polish on this game that eventually made it genuinely unplayable. With another kick at the can (and hopefully a higher budget), I would love to see these devs execute their vision in a manner befitting the passion they clearly have for the franchise but this is absolutely not it.
I just wish there was a sequel. :( can be replayed real well tho. Story is amazing. Dialogues well written. Atmosphere real immersive and the combat is good too. The devs were some real fans of the universe and understood what to do. The amount of detail in the maps make it all feel real. 5/5
Really enjoyed the game, tells a good story and has a great setup! It goes a but crazy with some of the plot at times, which may turn off some of the more purist Aliens fans out there, you might even say it would alienate some fans. Yes, pun intended. Personally i like that the story took a bit of a spin from the same-old-same-old,. I still think it stuck within the limits of whats possible and expected in the Aliens universe, seen crazier things in the comic books, so didn't phaze me. Wouldn't want to spoil the experience, but i want to say that I was initially surprised, but honestly liked seeing where it was going! The gameplay itself feels tight, and the tension is high! It has just the right amount of unit and equipment management without making you exhausted from micromanaging absolutely everything, and the combat feels fluid and challenging. Shooting is mostly determined by the AI of your troops, with some exceptions like special abilities, while majority of your actions are how and when they use their equipment and where to position them, and feels very rewarding once you get the hang of it. The maps tend to throw you into enough situations to get into an unfamiliar setup that you must adapt to, like moving from cramped corridors to open areas with little to no bottlenecks, or places with patrolling enemies forcing you to scout and keeping an eye out to get an edge. It does a good job not just repeating the same flow each time, although there naturally will be more than a few corridors, but they're fun and i don't think it ever overstayed its welcome before moving on to something different. But all in all, i was honestly left with wanting more.. Wish the game had an easy to use map editor for the community to play around with and share creations with one another, would have loved to see fans recreate familiar settings, or get creative with new ideas, and see how far they could push the editor to its limit! would have made for a great sandbox skirmish experience too! Well, it is what it is, but i can still highly recommend the game, whether you're an Aliens fan or not, it's great fun getting attached to your troops, and the feeling of losing the ones you fought to keep alive and strong hurts, but the consequences are part of what makes it so compelling to try harder, and actually make losses matter. If i had to put it into fewer words, i think it's a game that had more potential than it ends up with in the end. Would have loved seeing custom maps and missions shared by players, maybe even dabbled into it myself! But maybe there's room for that in a sequel if one ever comes around, which i hope! Would recommend picking it up on a sale, and also leaving an honest opinion on this page to inspire and give feedback to the devs, because i think they desearve to know what they did well, and what feels missing! To the dev team, Thanks for a great experience, loved the cutscenes! I can tell you love the world and the setting of Aliens, love seeing more colonized worlds that aren't just small towns but actual cities! Hope you're all doing well, and that another game comes around one day!
Incredible game. Scratches a particular itch of top-down scifi-horror that no other game has ever hit for me. Kind of like the creepy Zerg-infested space station levels from the Starcraft games, but a million times better because it's a game built entirely around that concept rather than a side-mission in an RTS. Not sure why support ended, but hopefully we get some campaign expansions someday or a proper sequel.
