KOSTENLOS
"Alice Through the Fey Realm" ist ein kostenloses isometrisches Adventure. Short but entertaining game, good atmosphere and playing randomly with the dice gives it a fun point.
It's a school project and under an hour, so my expectation weren't high. However, enjoyed it more than I'd expected. The art direction is very wholesome, cute and wonderful. The game play is essentially running around talking to NPCs and throw some Yahtzee hands. There are some bugs considering movement, but nothing game breaking. My character would just randomly stop moving and I would have to click on the screen to make WASD work again. What did bother me was the lack of time given to read objective notes. The objective on the screen kept disappearing before I could read the third sentence. Also the quest objective in said notes sometimes was ahead of my progress, saying I had completed what it asked me to do. Also there were quite a lot of spelling errors throughout the dialogue, especially in the first half of the game. However non of them were bad enough to not understand what was going on. Overall, I quite enjoyed my experience with the game. It was charming and the overall art direction together with the music created a nice ambience. The steam achievements were a nice touch and I might pick up the game at a later date to unlock the other achievements and see what the other dialogue options might entail :D I loved the expressions in the portraits! And the little sheep were so adorable x3 If you have an hour to kill and like the charming art direction it's worth a moment to sit down for, if just to run around and look at the beautiful landscape. :)
I know its a school project and I know its free but man after playing that beautiful game Atan from the same university my expectations were sky high and I am super disappointed. This is very unpolished. No story telling, characters don't move around and interact e.g. an npc in game needs to talk to another npc to progress the game they don't move a muscle. They all do idle animations do nothing. The dice roll rng still works even if you fail so what's even the point and I am getting 80ish fps on a undervolted and overclocked 3080 hot damn how unoptimized. Had to use LSFG to hit 165 fps. Unfortunately this is nothing but visuals so I have to leave a negative constructive feedback to complete my honest review.

I love gambling
Lovely game with great visuals. Seeing how much (positive) changes have been made over the past few weeks makes me very excited for what the future has in store for these people. I have yet to finish the game, but the combination of amazing visuals and fun gameplay mechanics make me more than excited to do so.
This game is so cute. It's a nice and relaxing adventure :)
