Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 18 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
There's no business like magic business. Time to set up shop in an idyllic small town in a medieval land filled with fairy tale magic, Discworld-esque comedy, and pop-fantasy cliches. Start small, and grow your business as your fame reaches new customers. If you think running a store is easy and somewhat dull - think again! This is no mundane supermarket. This is an establishment of miracles and wonder! Fill your shelves with magical merchandise and adjust the prices for optimal profit, while making sure your quirky clientele can still afford it. Expand your shop, add shelves, and organize your wares to attract customers!
The alchemy workshop above your store is where the real magic happens, and where you can make the most profit. Master the alchemical arts and brew potions worth their weight in gold. Fill your grimoire with formulas for useful concoctions through research and experimentation. Each ingredient has its unique properties - mash them in the mortar, mix with water and spirits, boil them in your cauldron while stirring carefully. Your elixirs will make a good coin when sold in your shop, but there's even more money to be made on custom orders. Sometimes, a customer will come with a problem only an alchemist can solve!
Good alchemical ingredients aren't that hard to come by or as expensive as one might think, while bought in bulk from the vendor across the street. But they're even cheaper if you grow them yourself! Fill your backyard with plants and mushrooms that hold all sorts of arcane qualities - from relieving bad gas to unraveling the fabric of reality. Make sure to always keep some extra planters of all sizes if you come by a rare seed while browsing your suppliers wares. Do you have a green thumb? Just remember to water your crops - they're the key to your future fortune!
As you gain wealth and experience, you will unlock new skills, options, and access to some more extravagant wares delivered to you from the farthest reaches of the realm through a network of travelling merchants. Some of the items will blow your mind (no, really - handle the Fire Wands with extreme care!). You'll also be able to buy some extra furnishing for your establishment, rare ingredients for your potions, and seeds to get your garden going. Keep an eye on lucrative wares, buy low, sell high and make sure to delight your clientele!

It's a very fun game. However be aware that it can be a little bit buggy when it comes to clicking. Sometimes the game randomly decides to start double clicking when you don't want it to so you may end up screwing up your potions or give too much change.

didn't really do much alchemy, mostly sold teeth and skulls. I think alchemy should be the main feature of a game called "alchemist shop simulator". You can only brew one potion at a time and it takes a while of focused labor. Not hard, just requires your attention. You mostly just run a shop were you are essentially buying cheap and selling high. I know it's just a game, but you get all your supplies across the street from your shop. Why aren't the townsfolk just buying from them? It isn't a bad game, just doesn't really feel like an alchemist shop. Honestly could just rename the game to magical shop simulator and it would be a better fit for what you actually end up doing in the game.
Really am enjoying this game. Graphics are cute and engaging--I like the balance of cozy busywork to specific tasks. I enjoy keeping my own little fantasy shop and I love getting to mix potions for the townspeople! Everything I wanted and pretended as a kiddo. In-game dialog (what there is--the npc's themselves speak sort of Simlish) and the "mailbox messages" are very tongue-in-cheek and fun. I hope there continues to be more options to expand inventory-wise in the shop and with the potions you unlock. Definitely recommend for cozy vibes and if you like running around in a fantasy world.
Simple shop simulation that's fun for a couple hours. However, it's getting grindy and repetitive quickly, so I won't unlock all the upgrades anymore. The one main thing you do is restocking the shelves so your helper can sell the goods. I ran back and forth between the stock spawn and shelves for more than enough hours now, there is very little to do outside of it. You can fulfill quests - brew a specific potion or buy items and resell them - or go around town to harvest wild plants. These plants you can also grow in your garden, but the withering mechanic is an absolute hassle. What's worse is that your plants will die when you go to sleep. So this halves the time you can grow plants every day and you have to water them regularly one by one. This or you don't sleep, but then again there is not much else to do at night, because your customers will only visit during the day. Something very nice: The potion ingredients and seeds you buy automatically get stored in specific chests. Good enough for a quick shopkeeper itch on a sale.
Alchemist Shop Simulator, developed and published by Kool2Play, offers a captivating and unique blend of simulation, crafting, and narrative-driven gameplay set in a charming medieval fantasy world. Players step into the shoes of an aspiring alchemist who inherits a small, rundown shop and must transform it into a thriving business. What sets this game apart from typical shop simulators is its rich alchemical system and the depth of interaction with customers, each with their own stories, needs, and secrets. The core gameplay loop revolves around managing the shop—organizing shelves, crafting potions, and fulfilling a variety of orders. Brewing potions is more than just a simple crafting mechanic; it involves experimenting with a wide range of ingredients to discover recipes and create diverse concoctions that cater to the needs of your clientele. This experimentation encourages players to think creatively and plan strategically, as different combinations yield different effects and qualities. The progression is satisfying, as players unlock new recipes, ingredients, and equipment, allowing for greater customization and efficiency in running their business. Beyond the basic shop management, Alchemist Shop Simulator excels in weaving an engaging narrative through over 150 story-driven quests. These quests add layers of depth to the gameplay, offering insight into the lives and motivations of the town’s inhabitants who visit the shop. Players aren’t just filling orders—they’re uncovering mysteries, helping solve personal problems, and sometimes dealing with magical or moral dilemmas. This narrative element elevates the game, making each customer encounter feel meaningful and adding emotional weight to what might otherwise be a straightforward simulation. Visually, the game embraces a warm and colorful art style that perfectly suits its whimsical and inviting atmosphere. The detailed character designs and lively environments bring the fantasy setting to life, while the animations contribute to a sense of bustling activity within the shop. The audio design, featuring soothing folk-inspired music and fitting sound effects, enhances the cozy, immersive feel of the game world, making time spent in the shop genuinely pleasant and relaxing. However, the game is not without its flaws. Some players may find certain mechanics, such as restocking shelves or managing the garden where ingredients grow, a bit repetitive or time-consuming after extended play sessions. While these elements contribute to the simulation experience, they can occasionally feel like busywork, detracting from the overall pacing. Additionally, the early learning curve for potion brewing might feel overwhelming to newcomers due to the number of ingredients and combinations to experiment with, though the game does provide tools and tutorials to ease this process. Despite these minor shortcomings, Alchemist Shop Simulator remains a standout title in the simulation genre by blending business management with a rich crafting system and a compelling narrative framework. It invites players to immerse themselves in a lovingly crafted world full of quirky characters and magical intrigue. For those who enjoy games that reward creativity, exploration, and story-driven progression, this game offers hours of engaging gameplay that is both charming and satisfying. It’s a delightful experience for anyone looking to escape into a magical shopkeeping adventure. Rating: 8/10
