Trouble Witches Origin - Episode1 Daughters of Amalgam -

[h1] Comedy type shooter with some dialogs in which you dodge through thousands of bullets. Gameplay might feel a bit chaotic at first but after time you get used to it. There's a lot of variety with stages and enemies even though it's quite short. You can choose from 5 characters each with different speed and shooting pattern. During gameplay you can stumble upon shop to buy cards which can be activated for temporary boost. Boss battles are good and interesting to play. On hard difficulty last stages might get kinda tough but you're able to continue when you lose. Arcade mode cuts only dialogs so mostly it's the same gameplay. Sadly there's no episode 2... Pro tip: Don't forget to release fire to pull coins! [/h1]

[h1]癖はあるが全体的に品質は高い[/h1] ＜昔買ってレビューを書いていなかった作品。通常のレビューより簡素＞ 本作自体は2007年に発売されているが、当時の視点で見るとインディーSTGでありながらオリジナルとパロディがいい塩梅で混ざっていて、キャラもそこそこ可愛く、ボイスもあってSTGとしての完成度も高めという極めて珍しい作品だった。 そこからバージョンアップにバージョンアップを重ねて進化を遂げたのが本作となるが、STGとしての気持ち良さは相変わらず据え置きで撃破の気持ち良さと稼ぎの気持ち良さの両方をしっかり楽しめる。 難易度はノーマル難易度でもそこそこ難しく、地形による移動範囲の制限やバックアタックなど変化球が襲うようになるため、ショップで購入できる武器を使った攻略が途中から当たり前のように求められるので、それを把握しておかないと苦戦するバランスだ。 万人向けとは言い難いが、「質のいいインディーSTG」を求めているならそれなりにおすすめできる一作である。 モードも複数あってこの値段は破格と言える。

This is a fun horizontal shmup. I usually go more for vertical shmups, but this is one of the few (along with Death Smiles and Black Bird) that I can really get into. The game has several modes, most of which are pretty brutal, especially until you really master the bullet canceling mechanic. Good art and decent music, plus some bad English translations, if you're looking for a shump with a story for some reason.

Listen, I do like this game. It is a thumbs up all the way. -HOWEVER- I have a bias. I love the original Trouble Witches NEO. For the XboxLiveArcade. And, believe it or not, it was a co-op. Yes, you could have a friend play with you on the same screen. I never understood to this day, why isn't it with this? ...Well, Besides having an old game seemingly forever trapped in an obsolete ecosystem. I will continue to poor my love for this series. As I only need one more character to complete this game. I look forward to any potential witch what you may have. Note: Plays well on Steam Deck.

This was a very fun bullet hell video game and the one I played and give it a go. Colorful, fun, medium to hard difficulty but manageable and worth it. Colorful cute characters with different abilities and powerups made by Studio SiestA they should bring more episodes as this is Episode 1. Its a good one and there is additional DLC as well added to the this video game too which extends the game further. It can be played on the computer fairly light specs.

Think this game wins for having the longest game title in my library.
