In Tokyo’s popular ”Electric Town” district, Akihabara, vampires called “Synthisters” walk among us. You must identify and dispose of them the only way you know how – by engaging them in hand-to-hand combat in order to strip them of their clothes so their bodies melt away in the sunlight.

Imagine censoring a game nearly a decade later, and in your foolish quest to placate an ultra tiny number of angry social media no lifers, you break the game and make it unplayable without modification. Thankfully there are ways around this, but screw XSeed for making me do it. Long gone are the days where they were holding up the PSP by giving us great translations of the Ys games. Rest in piss.
can we stop going back to old game and updating it with censorship wtf
Very silly game, very fun gameplay (and it gets sillier once you can customize all characters' outfits and walk animations!). Interesting that the strongest weapons are not necessarily the ones with the higher initial damage numbers, but the ones with shorter attack animation (and you can't tell what it is without trying the weapon out - while many are generic ones for the weapon class, there are plenty of unique ones, too). There is one achievement tied to a minigame that CANNOT be completed without a controller (it's actually impossible to move the cursor in that minigame with just keyboard and mouse) - but even that, you can get around by playing the game remotely on phone. That's about the only complaint I have, otherwise game was tons of fun. If you like this one, be sure to give the previous one (Hellbound & Debriefed) a try too.
It has no right to be as good as it is.
awesome game, absolutely recommend if you love anime stupid ♥♥♥♥ and ecchi stuff that takes itself seriously and look at you straight in the eyes, this game is it. the combat is fun, since i played it on gamer difficulty it was just the right amount for me to enjoy. the art is awesome, the characters are cool, and overall basically would i would say is the definition of a 7/10 kinda game. if you love jrpgs you should check this one out for sure
