3 out of 5 stars. It's not bad. It's just very shallow. There's not much of a story but there are quests to do. The actually city building is strange. You are stuck using coal for most of the game, then you get alternate propulsion, like lift balloons, late in the game and have to rearrange your city. TL;DR - If you really like city builders, buy it on sale.
This is a great game for chilling and exploring at your own pace. Nothing big about the story so far, but the interaction with characters is amusing.
This is an excellent addition to the city builder genre. I love being able to fly around with my city, shoot at pirates, and make an awesome city in the sky. It's really well balanced and I can honestly say that I haven't any glitches. Fabulous game, very fun!
A fun builder game. Really enjoy designing the city. Need to add a "dissemble all" button though. Moving and rebuilding stuff is tedious at best, and deleting everything manually to rebuild is a chore. Overall it's a fun game to play. Completed all completable modes. The dye collection achievement seems to have issues as well, as it sometimes doesn't register that you've collected it. It's been suggested that you have to click on the dye building a couple times to get it to register, so it's not a difficult issue. Just sucks at the end trying to figure out which one didn't register. I do recommend the game, the balance mechanic is neat, and really easy to manage. End game playing leaves a little bit to be desired though. Mostly just collect people, and constantly redesign your city to fit all those people.
NuageDeMots ~ Indies Together
