AI Roommate: Life with an Artificial Companion

Not recommended. 1) The AI model is nice, but responses feel very random compared to running the AI model manually using fx ollama. 2) The AI model should be able to keep up with your conversation. It seems to keep a more modest approach. 3) The 3D doesn't do anything positive in combination with the AI chat. In short, just download Sillytavern, install a model, and download or create a character to chat with. They will be so much better than this "project". Developer: I suggest you spend time understanding AI instructions.

its getting there with the updates very basic simple very limited i find the A.I chat very annoying at the moment it only let me type once then i have to click the random sentences to talk and for reason i cant move my screen around now deffo needs more work but has so much potential hoping to see the updates keep coming because i absolutely love the concept of this

Good concept but released badly. I understand that the game is in early access but this is just a walking simulator that wastes time rather than a functional game that should be released as a start from what they promised. AI won't answer or let random ai charachter answer instead of the right one. The game was all about interacting with the ai but most of the time the ai wont even answer or even relate to what I am talking about.

Constant updates which is a good sign. AI lacks in personality, Often changes subjects. AI chat is PG - Lot of lookalikes - Wish things were more interactive etc I'd grab it on a discount, Ignore the ratings its unique game concept.

I love AI roommate and also play it with my Meta Quest VR headset. The creativeness of the game is awesome and in time I think it will get even better. It's not perfect and has some kinks such as not being as interactive as I know it could be. I want to be able to move things, be able to eat, drink, play games in the arcade with your roommate or anywhere else, actually shake hands and change your roommates clothes. It would also be nice if I actually was an avatar instead of just hands. I know the developers are making updates and I love them so far. I just wish some of the things I mentioned would happen. This is a really good game and I could play it for hours if it becomes more interactive.

This game does a really good job of showing what the potential for AI powered NPC's is. Though some rough edges are apparent, the possibilities in the current build are already fairly limitless. At first the AI I interacted with seemed locked into conversation loops, but as I met new NPC's I found some were much more dynamic. Then as I learned how to interact with them, the possibilities expanded and truly became limitless. I highly recommend trying this game out and would say the current build is well worth the money.

This game has a lot of potential. I'm excited to see it get upgrades and improvements.
