Here in 2026 and the game is GOOD!!!

I've only played an hour so far--a tutorial/training thing and the first mission, and I must say that I'm really impressed with what I see considering how much this game costs (it's cheap). Visually, it's decent--nice detail in the city setting of the first mission. I also like the detail of the home base. The game makers did a good job creating the world and lore. That said, the game has a bit of an unpolished feel to it, but then it is early access, and I'm guessing it's being made by a small team. I will definitely keep playing this rather than refund it, so if you like 3rd-person shooters and the sci-fi setting and story sound interesting to you, I think you should definitely check this out.

I've been needing a new local co-op game for me and my son. This fit perfectly. It has great grind mechanics for leveling up. I'm just hoping that devs continue to add it. So far, I'm digging it.

I liked this game. If you liked the setting of Cliff Empire, then you'll like this one. AI Olympius is set in the same setting, often in structures seen in the first game, which is a source of great satisfaction for me. The story is interesting, but it has some storytelling issues. In fact, some of the choices made are truly ridiculous, not to say idiotic, considering the background (I won't spoil it), and they undermine the consistency of the story. The level design also has problems. Some maps are too big, others too small, and both types are full of invisible walls that severely limit exploration. These are often placed in areas that should be explorable but are not. I really appreciated the partial destructibility of the environment, which forces the player to play while on the move. What I didn't like was dying several times because I was hit by lasers and various shots through the intact walls of buildings. Overall, the game is good. I bought it on sale, but I think it's worth the full price. I hope to see some new expansions in the future.
