One of the few modern soulslikes that caught my eye. It has a relatively simple system but with enough depth that i adore it, it's very bloodborne esque, in that it is minimal in terms of your weapons that you can use and armour isn't overly important, the upgrades are nice and easy enough to follow. It doesn't try to do too much, but I especially love the deliberate flow of combat, it's not too fast and thankfully doesn't go into what I'd call "parry slop" but it's definitely not slow at all either, it's the perfect speed for me. The difficulty is pretty on point, the tracking of the enemies are very strong and dodge timings are pretty tight but it feels so good when you get into the flow. Nothing feels so overpowered or spammy, so basics and some spell usage, feels calculated in terms of damage and is more grounded. Simple, looks absolutely mesmerising on a good PC, especially love Hagios Patir. It does what it does to a very high quality. My favourite souls game in recent years, even more than lies of P for me personally. A very high 9.3/10
wonderfull game best soulslike i ever played now i just need to understand the story better XD good job devs hope your proud

Bit bland overall. Maybe I've just seen far too many games with samey black/brown/tan dystopian/post-apocalyptic vibes. Combat was interesting as first, but as it developed it got increasingly more boring and predictable, there's plenty of variety but 95% of it is pointless to engage with when beating most things only takes one, or perhaps two strategies in tandem.
Very fun soulslike! It's a bit on the easier side, however feels solid to play. My only real complain is that the devs clearly catered more towards Strength weapons than Technique weapons, but that's over all my only big gripe. Definitely worth the price.
This game was kind of a breath of fresh air I wasn't expecting. The world and level design was very enjoyable. Combat also felt good, though as a strength enjoyer I did wish there were more greatswords or big mongo bonker weapons. I used the starting sword for the whole game. Also a parry type game if you enjoy those, as I do. As far as difficulty goes, it was on the slightly easier side of soulslikes (that I've played) and I didn't mind it one bit. It made for a somewhat more chill experience. Definitely worth a play, I hope there's a second game at some point.
