This game is not perfect. Its story is confusing, quest pacing all over the place, it have some rough difficulty spikes and dubious boss designes. So much weapons and items that you dont care about 90% of them. That being said it kept me behind monitor until I saw all endings and done all achievments. I almost never do all achievments. I commend it.
Para que ama metroidvania é um jogo EXCELENTE, boa história, excelente jogabilidade, gráficos lindos, trilha sonora incrível.
I want to like this game, but the platforming is frustrating. there's so much "this looks reachable" when it needs a tiny bit more for a double jump or jump-dash. and then when you miss a jump, the "start the sequence over" point is far away. Or you fall a long ways and have a ton to redo. The controls are kinda meh, I get that the dpad is used for items, but it's annoying that I can't use the dpad for precision movement. Apparently 'normal mode' is easy mode, there's zero strategy and you can face-tank basically everything. the distances between places feels huge, and fast travel is needlessly item-gated. All this put together, and it feels like I'm wasting my time trying to get from point A to point B. The background art is great, but the in-game character art feels out of place - like it's the "that's the object that is going to move" in old animated stuff. And the menu is terrible - too pretty, not functional enough. picking skills out is awful - you can only use the thumbstick to move around an unnecessary spiderweb - no dpad, no wasd (oddly, arrow keys?) and things with "lvl1 / lvl2" of the same skill will be available at "char level 1 and then later char level 50".
What an incredible experience, 9/10 game. The atmosphere and level design is top notch, and lowkey I think it's amazing how big this game is. Looking at the steam trailers I think this game is trying to advertise itself as a 2D combat game first, and while the game does have a lot of that, the main draw is the sheer exploration in it. This isn't to say that the combat isn't good, in fact it's very fun and it never gets old, but this is more to help people who are tempted by the game but may have been turned away by how combat heavy the trailer makes it seem. I've just finished the game and I've heard there's even more content in new game+, so I'm excited!
Afterimage is a nice metroidvania that stays true to the genre. Metroidvanias are a dime a dozen and I'm not particularly keen on the genre as a gamer, but I do dip into them every now and then for work reasons. This is another game I bought for research to help my team at work to ramp up their 2D art chops. The anime-styled main character was the main draw for me. Her in-game animation is not as fluid and juicy as it could have been but it is still quite appealing. While the craftmanship of the other characters and the environment art is quite high, they are also a farily generic fantasy themed. It's pretty but not memorable. All in all, Afterimage is fun, pretty and feels good to play. I might come back to at some point but I doubt I will ever bother to finish it.
great platformer, very huge map, had ton of fun
Enjoyed my experience by the time I got the true ending. However, the map of this game is way too big for a metroidvania and your get the good movement upgrades so late that it feels like a slog to play this up until that point. And even after getting them, your mostly spamming dash to get around when there could have been a run button or something. It still felt like this game was made by people who don't understand what makes metroidvanias fun or how they're paced. Like, you can't move and attack at the same time while on the ground so your gonna mostly do jumping attacks on everyone or how there are some big rooms with nothing in them. But I really enjoyed the other things they added like rpg aspects, how the special moves you can get for each weapon are done with command inputs like its a fighting game, and how there are multiple weapons with different attacks.

国产空洞骑士,应该说是国产丝之歌,我怀疑丝之歌出得玩晚,就是樱桃社那三个人上班在打这个
