The best arcade racing game to come out since F-Zero GX. It has some of the most genius track designs I've ever seen and some of the most fun mechanics you will ever try. This game is fun

Aero GPX is exactly what you may think it is. After 20 years of the F-Zero series being on an indefinite hiatus with no new game in sight, many indie game teams have tried to make their own successors to F-Zero with varying degrees of success, but from all my time playing anti-gravity racing games Aero GPX is "the one". You'll have to take my word for it as Aero GPX plays just as good as its spectacle is with a lot of familiar elements from F-Zero but with unique twists that totally make it distinct and have its own identity far away from what its inspiration is. While you have your usual dual thrusters to lean your machine and drift, spin attacks and all, the coolest mechanic in this game is final burn. Final burn is one of the most fun risk and reward mechanics I've ever had to use in a racing game. When you take a lot of burn damage you essentially remove the speed cap in a way and the amount of speed you get is absolutely addicting and it only makes you want to unleash your inner speed demon and go wild with all the paths and shortcuts you can make yourself. Speaking of shortcuts, every single course here is really awesome. Of all the cups in the game most of them here are a total joy and with already 40 hours of playtime a lot of that is from career mode and simply trying to go faster and faster by improving my time trial records. The pilot variety is solid too with tons of vehicles to fit any scenario and playstyle you want, and most importantly the artstyle rules to bring it all together with brgiht vivid colors and a comic book style that reminds me fondly of F-Zero X. All in all this is the most surprising game I have ever played in the anti-gravity racing game subgenre. My single only regret is I didn't get a chance to back this game on Kickstarter, but I hope this game reaches more people soon because Aero GPX should not be passed up. Finally, an arcade AG racer that actually get the feeling of speed right. The driving is right between a F-Zero X and GX and is very responsive. It is not trying to mimic Wipeout (thank God) and it does not feel overly floaty. The game has a modern and colourful touch while trying to do its own thing. The slipsteam adds mid air steering and the burn mechanic gives a good risk reward tension. I do recommend a good rebind of the controls to fit it to your liking, depending if you want to drive closer to whichever F-Zero you prefer. Maybe the dev can add different premade control layout in the future? Very good first impression!

У цій грі вирішує скіл так як запас здоров'я та турбоприскорювач обмежений: один невірний рух і твою машину розбито, але є спеціальні дороги, які поповнюють здоров'я та турбоприскорювач. Також ця гра не дасть знудьгувати палким шанувальникам швидкості: можна навіть досягти 3000+ км/год. А спеціально для власників слабких ПК та ноутбуків є окрема копія із суфіксом "Low-End Rendering". Загалом гра дуже добротна.

Great sci-fi anti-grav racing game, it's like F-Zero+, the dev seems to be doing well with updates and all the racers are unique in that you'll find one or two you gel with. The tracks are really fun and the overall aesthetic of the game is really beautiful, very vaporwave. Definitely recommend if you like sci-fi racing games.

A lot of fun, great soundtrack. Still waiting on those other track-tracks!
