About
You’re an operative stuck in a time loop, always brought back from the dead to the same point. Choose your loadout and enter quantum unstable zones rich with active matter – the most valuable and the most dangerous resource in all multiverse. Fight against rivals from other timelines, survive physics-breaking anomalies and try to stay alive. Harvest active matter, gather loot and extract to a safe place before the whole zone ceases to exist with everything inside it.
Active matter changes things and bends space and time, so you might encounter operatives and other survivors that lost their mind and humanity after exposure to this substance. Other players, though, would always be your most dangerous enemy. Expand your syndicate base, upgrade your arsenal and participate in fierce battles between syndicates over the key sources of active matter, as they’re your only chance to break out of the loop and gain control over your destiny.
Fight your way out in extraction-style PvE and PvPvE raids
Go solo or team up in small squads to venture into quantum-unstable zones in PvPvE and PvE raids. Harvest active matter, grab valuable loot, and extract before everything goes to hell.
Realistic weapons and gear
Active matter randomly brings things from other timelines to the quantum unstable zones and allows you to replicate a specific item from other timelines in the safety of your base. Despite the mysterious origin of your weapons, your arsenal is always rooted in real-world military technologies and tactics, as war seems to be the only constant in this chaotic multiverse.
Gameplay-influencing active matter effects
Mind-bending anomalies that change gravitational force and space topology right in front of your eyes. Thrilling encounters with eerie SCP-inspired objects would send shivers down your spine, and creatures transformed by active matter would attack you on sight.
Intense PvP battles
Syndicates of operatives fight over control of a passive source of active matter, using all the weapons and other gear they can bring into battle or craft on site. Join PvP battles you like and make a real impact on the fate of the multiverse!
Fascinating maps
Battles take place at locations that exist outside of space and time boundaries. Active Matter features a variety of maps, including a huge island with rusty Soviet industrial complexes and cryptic science labs that were among the first to study this new phenomena. Explore these places to find hints on the origin of active matter.

Pretty much a good mix of Tarkov and Stalker, very good experience with friends and totally recommend it.
За стрельбу отдельный плюс, люблю когда оружие не ощущается пластмассовым, тут с этим для меня порядок

Been playing this for at least a year now, it's good, but honestly all I've really played since it's first days is the PvE mode for the SCP-Extraction mission-based experience. I cannot speak for the PVP, personally.
Fog taught me it can hide me or expose me depending on who’s moving. Systemic details like that rule.
Active Matter doesn’t stick to a single color palette, theme, or even a specific type of environment. The maps are so well designed that they constantly give you that feeling that something is just… wrong. In the best possible way. Every area feels packed with things to discover. I keep walking into places thinking, “Okay, but what the hell is hiding in here?” Even when I’m just looting, there’s always this little voice in the back of my head going, “Are we about to get jumped?” And honestly, that’s exactly the kind of tension I personally want from an extraction shooter. The mission loop is also incredibly well balanced. Looting alone can only carry a game for so long. Eventually you need an answer to the classic question: “Okay… but why the hell am I collecting all this stuff?” Active Matter actually gives you an answer through systems like the Shelter, Investigation, Replicator, and Harmonization. They make your loot feel meaningful instead of just turning your backpack into a mobile landfill. Really enjoying it so far. The game constantly makes me curious, paranoid, and slightly convinced that opening one more door is probably a terrible idea. Exactly how an extraction shooter should make me feel.
I still sweat on the last 20 meters to the exit. Every single time. That’s how exfils should feel.
Active Matter is a enjoyable coop game but PVP can feel unfair because of the veterans knowing their way arround, might get better with gametime
Me and a friend picked this up in the middle of the night. We've been playing pve nonstop since. I dont know what everyone else is on about but this game did a lot of things right for this part at least. If you have friends and want to drop in and have a good time this game definitely is it.
i will say i absolutely HATE extraction shooters but Active matter has changed the game, my best advice if you are someone like me that hates how slow and boring extraction shooters are this is the opposite, the movements fast, i cant tell if theres going to be a new enemy around the corner or if its going to be something ive encountered before, the enemys are quite scary because either you cant see them or they blend in with the beautifully crafted work so well that you wont see them until its too late. My best advice i can give to anyone looking at playing this game is to disregard the reviews and just go in blind and give it a try. worst thing that happens is you have to refund it. Active matter is the bees knees man.
