Acid Spy

Great game with fluid movement and fun maps. I accidentally pressed R so many times and reset my progress after completing a mission, thinking this game had a reload like other games :) I had a small bug where I almost died to enemy, and my FPS camera rotated like 15 degrees until I restarted my map.

This is a satisfying little game focused on gameplay. Beyond the fun stealth/puzzle aspect, I found the movement mechanics hooked me. Since finishing the game I've enjoyed replaying it just to experience the movement and the core gameplay loop again.

--Original Review: Outstanding game. At first I was annoyed to see a few platforming puzzles thrown in, but honestly they grew on me. Very fast paced. I never games like this that look a bit cheap, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that the gameplay is really fun. --Edit: Decided to edit my review. Still love the game. Acid Spy has really mastered the core loop of how I play any stealth game: enter an area, try to take out every one of the guards without being seen, repeat. And I love that it's very fast paced. It doesn't have much more than that, but to me, that gameplay loop is the most satisfying part of these games anyway. It doesn't need more, it's great. I'm always running out of space on my pc and having to uninstall games, but this one stays installed. Definitely recommended.

Das gesetzte Timing von Rutschen und Springen gibt einem ein befriedigendes Gefühl, wenn es gelingt, und lässt einen fix durch die ganze Map rutschen und springen. Wenn man einfach nur mal ein wenig rasche Bewegung in nem single player Shooter haben will und das ohne großes Drumherum, dann ist man hier richtig. Eine besondere Story, geschweige denn Charakteren, braucht man hier nicht erwarten. Es ist, was man bekommt, aber das ist auch okay so.

Great game, so fun. Feels super satisfying when you are able to master a level and complete it perfectly in less than a minute. Very simple, balanced, and fun.
