i love this game i think its f&$kin awesome! the graphics are beautiful the planes fly so nicely it completely sucks you in it runs so smooth ive only had literally one or two graphical flickers or glitches. the selection is a little bit restricted could do with more planes and some bigger bombers that would be amazing. take off and landing is easy but it feels like something is missing with it i cant place my finger on it yet. online plays well but i dont think there are many players on however the bots do a reasonably good job at filling in occasionally i find myself questioning if im playing a bot or human playing the rest of the time the bots seem to have a default maneuver or two that makes them easier to spot. we definitely need more story based missions and bombing runs but also more variety for multiplayer and possibly a slightly more user friendly mission selection option.
Don't like it at all. Can't use my controls. I wish I never ordered it. Tried several time but never could get it to work

чисто вартандер, но с ботами, людей нет + вечно тригеры включаются и мешают, вот не понимаю в чём суть этой игры, почти никак не расширяет возможности вартандера, за эти деньги могли бы продавать просто вариант управдения в тундре, но тут ещё кокпиты передалны, и интерфейс под виар. Всё же главная претензия, 0 онлайн, оно и понятно, играть контроллерами неудобно в авиасим, тем более виар, так и жанр где онлайна мало, то есть ещё на этапе планирования не понимаю сути, как этот продукт должен развиваться, если продаж будет мало, а онлайна крепкого не будет. Оставлю фиг с ним, может в будущем сформируется, что то, слава улитке!
** This review will be updated later ** While being a VTOL VR fan, i thought lets add the "WW2 angle of attack" to my collection. My goal is to have an immersive setup for fun arcade-sim action: My idea is to have a PCVR setup. easy and fun to play including telemetry export to a bass-shaker. so far, so good! Aces of Thunder hasnt got the VR cockpit on the same level as VTOL VR but it is ok, i think I can work arround for flaps/gear by assigning keys on the left VR controller (in progess). For the Stick immersion -> i am working with a protas VR stick on the right side of my desk chair - this is a no-go. So I have ordered the protas Slim VR stick to add to my collection. (in progress but expect this will give what i am looking for. Additionaly, the Slim is also a nice additon for VTOL VR - center sticks planes). So i have done a few test flights with the virtual stick, and simhub is running parallel (with the Aces of Thunder profile) to process the haptics. WOW. Will be back for more if the temperature drops a bit. I love this game + VTOL VR. Playing PCVR with a USB 3.0 cable. OpenXr on startup from Steam. No lag, no issues, just superb.

very fun, would reccomend for war thunder sim players.
This game is supposed to be playable with a HOTAS. It is NOT ! Whatever I tried (order of plugging and turning on, changing the usb ports, removing USB hub, even using joystick gremlin !), I never had working throttle and rudder. And the joke is that my HOTAS works perfectly in war thunder ! (and also in IL2 and DCS without having to make dozens of attempts). And, if it was not enough, when you try to to map your axes and buttons, the game remains locked on the mapping screen, waiting for an input that it is unable to manage ! And there is no esc button ! You must use alt tab to go out of the game and turn it off from the windows screen. What a nightmare ! What a joke ! Where are the programmers who worked so well on war thunder ?!
