ACE COMBAT™ 7: SKIES UNKNOWN

An incredibly fun arcadey flight combat game, with a decent story to get you interested enough to keep going but not much after. If you liked shooting people from a Jet in GTA online, you'll like this game. A negative is the lockout of objectively better multiplayer parts from being used in single player (though thankfully resolved with mods) The game would be much more fun if the part limit was also removed, 8 is too little to have fun with.

Проиграл я в этот великолепный симулятор мух в лицо около трёх 3 дней подряд. Во время игры я испытывал много разных эмоций, из‑за которых моё очко подгорало. Одно из них - это управление. Я заебался водить мышку по столу; пришлось поставить рядом гладильную доску и по ней ещё мышку катать (места на столе не хватало, чтобы поднять самолёт вверх). Я до сих пор не полностью понял это заёбостное управление, где, ♥♥♥, ты левой рукой нажимаешь 4 кнопки, а мышкой - по ощущениям. После игры рука болит так, как будто ты надрочился раз 10, потом поднял 100 на бицепс. Эмоциями это не передать - только опытные дрочильщики поймут, какая это ♥♥♥♥♥

Amazing arcade jet game. Played 2, 4, 5, 0. Out of all of them, this is definitely the best one by far in terms of gameplay and visuals. Music is superb. Story is serviceable. I wouldn't say the story is bad like some would say. I think that's just nitpicking at that point. Easiest to start the series here. Regularly on sale, best controls, most accessible. Mission objectives are clearest. Really love the mod parts you can add to every plane. Really lets you play to your own style. The unlock system is really fun versus a standard shop in other entries and series. Be prepared to rage on your first playthrough as there is a lot of stuff you have to figure out on the fly for different missions that can make you fail out of nowhere if you don't already know. The controls can take some getting used to as well, if this is your first flight genre game. I recommend trying the older entries too once you've gotten your fill of 7. These games are indeed meant to be played over and over though, being arcade games in nature. I recommend doing Zero and 5 next if you're a new player. (Fair warning, the multiplayer is absolutely dead.) This game was wonderful overall. Had some annoyance like with the tomboy character you'll meet right away, but thankfully they're not too present in the game. Wings of Theve (8) is not looking too good... Looks kinda woke and ridiculous with bad writing and voicework that is neither fitting nor comically bad. Hope it ends up being better, as I would love for an expanded sequel for 7.
