[h1][b]Academy of Magic: Dark Possession[/b][/h1] Wer ein Match 3 Spiel sucht um sich zu entspannen, keine Herausforderungen möchte aber reichlich Content wünscht, dem würde ich Academy of Magic: Dark Possession nur ans Herz legen, jedoch leidet das Spiel an vielen Bugs. Dieses Spiel wurde mir kostenlos über unsere Kurator Gruppe zur Verfügung gestellt, jedoch hat dies keinen Einfluss auf meine Bewertung. [h1][b]Optionale Story mit viel Content[/b][/h1] Academy of Magic: Dark Possession ist ein typisches Match 3 Spiel, bei dem man drei gleiche Objekte zerstören muss. Die Story die über Völker erzählt, deren Heimat angegriffen wurde und wir wieder aufbauen müssen ist optional und kann übersprungen werden. Sie begleitet euch aber über das ganze Spiel, welches ordentlich viel Content bietet für viele Spielstunden. Zumindest, solange ihr natürlich weiterkommt. Das Spiel leidet nämlich unter einigen Bugs die sogar dazu führen, dass man das ganze Spiel neu beginnen muss, was extrem ärgerlich sein kann, wenn man schon im dritten Kapitel oder weiter ist. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2633328781 [h1][b]Kauft Items vor Level 1-9 oder beginnt von null[/b][/h1] Obwohl das Tutorial aktiviert ist wird einem nicht gesagt, dass man die Items, die einem Helfen bspw. ein Objekt zu eliminieren, kaufen muss, da ich gerne Items vermeide habe ich bei meinem zwangshaften zweiten Versuch (PC Formatierung und keine Cloud Save Funktion) keine Items gekauft, sondern das „Dorf“ mit meinen gesammelten Sternen verbessert. Ab Level 1-8 hat man schon Items gebraucht, jedoch konnte ich nach einer Wiederholung das Level schaffen, ab Level 1-9 ist allerdings damit Schluss, habt ihr hier keine Items gekauft kommt ihr nicht mehr weiter im Spiel, über das Menü lassen sich auch keine Items mehr kaufen ohne dass ihr das Level erst beendet, was allerdings nicht möglich ist. Somit bleibt euch nur noch ein kompletter Neustart. Sie erinnert mich irgendwie an Halloween und ich liebe Halloween. Die Spielgrafik ist so lala, für ein Match 3 Spiel in der Preisklasse jedoch ganz okay. Die Figuren sind putzig und die Match 3 Objekte recht Abwechslungsreich, mehr braucht es aber auch eh nicht. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2633328757 [h1][b]Fazit:[/b][/h1] Academy of Magic: Dark Possession ist ein echt tolles Spiel das ich gerne weiterempfehlen würde, bei meinem ersten Spieldurchgang hatte ich kaum Probleme, es gibt keine Zeit- und Zugbeschränkungen, weshalb man sich bei den Leveln Zeit lassen kann wie man will und so gut entspannen und der netten Musik lauschen darf. Jedoch musste ich meinen PC Formatieren, da ein Windows Update mein System zerschossen hat (Danke MS) und das Spiel kein Cloud Save hatte, erneut beginnen, was nicht so schlimm war. Jedoch kaufte ich diesmal keine Items, da ich diese eh selten benutze und es hier überflüssig erschien. Ab Level 1-9 sind jedoch Items Pflicht, denn ohne kommt man nicht mehr weiter und kann auch im Menü keine mehr kaufen. Da ich mir sicher bin, dass Bugs (wie bei vielen anderen Spielen von HH-Games leider) nicht behoben werden, rate ich um Frust zu vermeiden von einem Kauf ab. Zudem ist auch das Ende wieder sehr abgeschnitten, weil den Entwicklern vermutlich das Geld ausging, sollte euch die Story also interessieren kann es gut sein , dass ihr es dreimal neu starten müsst um die kurze Sequenz abspielen zu können, die euch dann mit einem Hängenden Gesicht einfach stehen lässt. Wirklich schade, weil das Spiel ansonsten wirklich gut ist und für den schmalen Preis sehr viel Content und Spielspaß bietet. Getting stuck in level 1-9 because despite clearing all tiles, it still requires me to clear 2 more, which I can't access (and the game doesn't explain me how). Can't get back to the upgrades screen either, can only return to the level. Shame, it was a decent game up until level 1-9.

This is a good concept, so it's unfortunate that the game is buggy and broken. This means that you can get completely stuck in a level and never be able to get out of it, even to buy the items that will help you to complete it (which you will not find out about ahead of time). The developers should have done testing before this was ever released for sale.

I've played this about an hour now and have a good idea what the game is like. Keep in mind that I don't play match 3 type games often, other than as an occasional time waster for 10-20 minutes at a time. The graphics, sound music, etc. are all fine, as you can see in the video. The game itself is a rather long session on a match 3 screen, then switching to a land area where you can upgrade things and buy special items. The match 3 part itself is fun and interesting, but maybe a little too long for my tastes. I'd rather have more, but faster to finish screens. Each screen is taking 10-15 minutes after you have completed the tutorial screens. You have to make matches that cover certain glowing squares, and to finish the screen you need to get quite a few of them (60 on the last screen I did). Maybe someone that plays these games more often than I do will be able to finish them quicker. Sometimes there is a bottleneck, one square wide, where you have to keep making matches around it until you get lucky and things line up right to match the item in that one square, and that one square wide bottleneck may be 3 or more squares tall, so repeat this 3+ times. To its credit, I have never been left without a move or had to restart a level, even if I had to make matches several squares away from the bottleneck and work back to it. The upgrades are a bit confusing. I bought a couple, and I see them appear on the land area, but nothing tells you what they do, at least that I have seen. The second one is called "Mysterious Egg" and when I upgraded it and clicked on it, it gave me some flavor text but never said what it actually did. It's possible I just missed it. Some of the other upgrades I don't have enough points for yet are just a persons name with a bit of flavor text. I have no idea why I would want to buy them. Anyway, the match 3 part is fun enough for the price and if my minor complaints above don't bother you, it's probably worth the low price.

I like this game. Its really neat and cozy.

Second of a trilogy of magical match 3 games with a nice back story. Each game can be completed in around 5 - 7 hours. There are no real stumbling points as the moment there are no moves left the game resolves the problem. I personally am enjoying these games but they could be a little more challenging. A timer might be the way forward in the next game to add that little bit of jeopardy. However the story and graphics are of a fair standard which does help.
