Playing this game so far has been an really fun experience. Tons of different builds, weapons, choices, and enough to keep you entertained. The dev team has gotta be working on fixing the bugs. It is a great game and I am excited for any bug fixes
Gives me Destiny 2 vibes
It's ok, needs more content
After 10h playtime i really enjoy this game and try to 100% it. it should take some time but i think it's worth
This game is filling a solid niche. This is my favorite "I've got an like half an hour to play something with you all" game with my friends. The weapons in the game are all unique enough that you can play them more or less however you want and the tools/blessings allow quite an array of different ways to kill everything in the room. There are a few Secondaries for some weapons that feel really weak but you can basically spin the wheel of stuff and get something fun. And, the Blessings which change how your guns and tools interact and do damage are all really solid. I'm coming around to 100 hours and I still find myself asking "Can I get this to work" instead of "Oh please not that." And, that's exactly how I want to feel when I roll and find out how I can play this set of stages. Unlocking everything is also a surprising array of completing challenges, playing the game and exploring which will net you most everything if you keep your eyes out for them. It also tells you how you can expand the Secondaries for the Guns so there is plenty of stuff to follow up on. And, some of the more recent builds are really fun. I've been really partial to the Piercing Goldburst Bow or the Chain gun with the Spear decked out in Wind or Lightning. If none of that makes sense don't worry about it and just try them as you find them. The Reverted Soul Wheel was the right decision; trying to bend the wheel to a new design just did not work. Trying to deselect and re-select required removing so many points I almost wanted to just run with whatever I had to avoid doing it. Now though, we've got everything back and I have no complaints. Here is to more content and another 100 hours!
Pretty easy to pick up, fun playing it and trying new builds, cool bosses and boss arenas as well. Went fully blind into the game at 1.3 and I've had a blast playing it and finding secrets and new weapons. Would recommend if you like Looping runs and endurance runs for the end game, still pretty good if you just want to do simple runs!
Fun co-op fps roguelite. Cross platform works great, have played with xbox ps5 and pc all at once. Some more enemy and boss variety would be beneficial, but the game is pretty fun for what it is The community was totally wrong about the soul forge change, I started playing when you could only equip 25 of the upgrades at once. It made for good team work co-op and actually having to think about what your build is. Community raged and the devs listen and changed to back to you just have every upgrade all the time which is pretty dumb Definitely have run into some annoying bugs, but nothing bad enough for this to not be a recommended play
very solid foundation. Will need continued updating to really stretch its legs, as I feel I have "beat the game" despite not much playtime in this genre. Adding more blessings and sub-blessings, guns, abilities, enemies, bosses, etc. Also I think leaning more into enemy augmentations would add variation to already existing enemies while new combatant designs are created. If you are the type of gamer who loves to optimize and compare builds, the game can be bested quite fast, like in my case. However, if you just want something to play with some friends here and there, it's a very tempting product.
Brilliant if it had a bit more content I could lose my life in this looping. Not perfect, as blessings do all the damage the weapon augments and some gadget augments feel wasted or pointless (eg the shotgun only has one good one). Great though. No idea what all the fuss is with the talent tree? You max it in a few runs anyway so what difference does it make?
