Why when I am able to do 86mil total dmg in a run do I get put on a timer for the final boss? Like if I have the ability to dodge the skill shots and do the damage, why do I get punished for having low dps. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game design
Pretty chill for a rogue lite.
Game is a diamond in the rough, honestly the level design and constant enemy variety is amazing especially for the price !, this game has the potential to truly be compared to risk of rain 2 and other amazing co op action rouge likes in the genre, the gameplay is snappy and has so many ways to play it really surprised me, if they keep adding more content and maybe one more truly RNG mechanic it will feel more complete. 8.5 / 10
It's a FPS version of Hades. That's not an insult, by the way. This game may not reach the narrative heights of Hades, but it's well-made, challenging, fun, and well worth the money.
vraiment sympas ! je recommande
This game is a ton of fun for what it is - a rail shooter roguelike with a great vibe that sits somewhere between steampunk and Lovecraftian Horror. The level of polish is amazing, it feels like a AAA game! The graphics are great even on my fairly mid-range PC and the sound is excellent, with several notable sound bits that made the hair on my neck stand on end. As a roguelike it's got solid meta-progression that takes a good half-dozen good runs to start completing, and then there's the Deep Water unlocks which add pressively more challenge as you add news ones. The aspect/blessing system is very good and the scaling is very balanced with your progress in each expedition. The numbers do get big if you build correctly. Additionally, this game's cross play worked great for me the first time I tried it, and was able to invite a friend on Xbox to my lobby (PC steam) and play with no hitches. On the other hand, content is limited. The devs have done some clever things to stretch what exists, such as each boss having multiple variants that make the fights different, and the ability to randomize the order in which the zones appear in each expedition are nice - but there are still only 4 zones. Cosmetics are also limited for now, and more ways to personalize your character would be very welcome, especially if they aren't locked behind DLC. Overall, a solid 7.5/10 right now with very high hopes that the devs keep producing new content!
There are still a few kinks to iron out, but the game is pretty solid over all, I'm playing it with a friend and trying to recruit more spicy bois for a full party. It's fast, it's frantic, it's satisfying, it's pretty great for the pricepoint. If you like that sort of thing, this FPS/roguelite is 4 u. Cheers
Game good, guns feel good, unique enemies and bosses. Some bosses have actual mechanics other than shoot it which is nice. Would like to see a lot more content but at this price point it's definitely worth the time and money.
