Above The Clouds - Episode 1

Eins vorweg, alle Hinweise verdichten sich, dass diese Spiel im Stich gelassen wurde - also sozusagen Abandonware ist. Zwar wurde es hier bei Steam nicht als Early Access vermarktet - es ist allerdings von Episode 1 die Rede und für mich bedeutet dies zwangsläufig, dass es eine Episode 2 geben muss - die war auch angekündigt, für Anfang 2024 - jetzt haben wir im Prinzip Ende 2025. Und das letzte Mal, dass der Entwickler hier aktiv war, ist laut Newslog September 2023 gewesen. Wer also damit leben kann, dass viele Fragen offen bleiben, viele Love Interests unerfüllt, dem könnte man das Spiel durchaus empfehlen. Es macht Spaß, nimmt sich selbst auch nicht allzu ernst, und hat ansprechende Grafik. Das Negative ist halt, es gibt keinen Abschluß, man wird in der Luft hängen gelassen. Wenn der Preis stimmt, ist es eigentlich durchaus eine Empfehlung wert. Wer allerdings nicht ertragen kann, was hier an Potential verschwendet wurde, weil die Story selbst doch recht originell war, der sollte Abstand nehmen. Ich finde es schade, dass da nichts nach gekommen ist. Ich kann es ja verstehen, wenn es einem über den Kopf wächst, habe hier selbst schon seit über einem Jahr drei PCs stehen, die zwar laufen, die ich aber nicht fertig bekomme, obwohl ich alle notwendigen Teile da habe. Bei der Spieleentwicklung liegt wohl die Kunst darin, die Geschichte so zu gestalten, dass man auch zu einem Ende kommt, und sich nicht in zahllosen Plotttwists verliert und so Gefahr läuft, entweder einfach nicht mehr fertig zu werden oder eben die Qualitätsanforderung an einen selbst nicht mehr erfüllen kann. Schade eigentlich - Above The Clouds war für mich doch Richtung Top 50 meiner Lieblings-AVN, aber wenn es unfertig bleibt, bedeutet dies eigentlich Disqualifikation. Leider ein Phänomen, was ich bei vielen meiner Hoffnungsträger erleben musste...

Here are the pros & cons of this AVN as I see it, Pros: 1. The graphics are not bad. Cons: 1. The story just is incomplete and abandoned by the developer. If you are looking for good AVNs on Steam, I recomend: Acting Lessons, City of Broken Dreamers, Depraved Awakenings, Leap of Faith, Monster College, My Dorm, & Sisterly Lust.

Quick and Dirty, no real choices, you can get everything you need in about 20minutes. Wouldn't recommend paying full price for it. grab it on sale.

I have never heard a VN game with such sound effects - in addition, the game also includes sounds during sex scenes Story: - The game is very funny, I really liked it, but I believe that not everyone will feel the same way - The main character gets to heaven and starts telling his story - The game was abandoned, but great news, the author returned and has already released the first update
