Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

A million beings from a thousand worlds pour forth, emerging from these ruptures to engulf the world in its slumber. Save your regret, for it could never have been otherwise, from the blazing start of all things, to now, the path was set. When all is change, behold the fixedness of all things.
Even if only playing a small bit its FUN and I get to sneak and be a chemist >:D ALCHEMY LOOOOOOORE! Ahem. Buy it. For both the solo and multiplayer exp. GOGO.

Game is half the price of modern games Game is 6.5gb of storage Game took me 82 hours of gameplay to finish the story Game took 46.8hrs of my life in the past 2 weeks alone Game has insane lore that blows me away, especially the email logs and how they relate to the game itself Game still has tons of content I still don't know about Game is worth getting.
You know its a banger when 1 hour into the game you are already making crossbows out of a stapler to shoot pens at a patrol robot who restocks vending machines to rob soda cans and CPU off of its cold, dead body to sate your thirst. Bought it around launch and finished what was available during early access and they actually finished the game about 2 years later, its well worth it.

After 100% completing this game I have decided to score it based on the single-player and multiplayer experiences: Single-player - 2/10 Multiplayer - 7/10 The game is insanely extensive with weeks worth of content to discover and explore as you desperately try to find a way out of the facility. However, the game lacks from a clear lack of vision, lore, or playtesting. Locking everything behind the most unbelievable grind only to find that every single "reward" in this game is the most incredible letdown leaving you wishing for more but there just isnt. Combat quickly becomes boring and repetitive as you quickly realize there are extremely few actually viable approaches to dealing with enemies. The game even goes as far as to market itself as an SCP game yet fails to deliver on almost anything SCP related instead resorting to what feels like a light brochure of SCP info despite it being the games entire main focus. On the other hand this game is truly an ADHD wonderland constantly offering you new mini adventures, crafting recipes, and base building materials to explore. Beyond the repetitive combat is things like fishing, farming, and even raising your own pets. In the most extreme cases you can even make yourself a mop 9000 and go on a cleaning spree that rival Viscera Cleanup Detail. What story there actually is will keep you strung along as you explore whole new biomes that stretch what you consider abnormal. In the end, if you are going to buy this game do it when it is on a big sale and you MUST play it with friends!
I have to gush about this game. I’m currently playing through it with my wife, and we’re having such a good time. I went in knowing almost nothing beyond “it’s another survival game.” We’d enjoyed Raft and wanted something new. I wasn’t expecting this. What surprised me most is how well it keeps you busy. There’s always some kind of pressure: health, needs, enemies stalking you, base attacks, dwindling ammunition, equipment breaking. There’s constantly something to deal with, and they’ve absolutely nailed that feeling of never being bored or sitting around waiting for something to happen. It’s also much harder than I expected, even with a few quality-of-life tweaks to our server. Certain sections in the third area forced us to rethink how we played. You can’t always rush in and gun everything down; you have to adapt. The game pushes you to do that quite often, and it feels like a natural part of discovering how the world works. The level design is fantastic. The locations are varied, but what really stands out is how much progress you feel just from exploring. You open shortcuts, discover new materials, and find secrets leading to places you didn’t even know existed—even after spending more than ten hours in an area. My favorite part, though, is how the game’s systems come together to create hilarious moments. At one point, we came across a robot and assumed it was the same kind we were used to dealing with. Then it turned on my wife, grabbed her, and started carrying her down a ramp toward a containment cell. Meanwhile, I was frantically trying to reload my painfully slow shotgun to save her. I can’t do justice to how funny it was. Can’t recommend it enough.
