Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

Half life with base building
Technically, it's a metroidvania - you won't make meaningful progress without unlocking virtually the entire progression tree and all the key items. That's also one of the game's biggest drawbacks: the progression can feel pretty restrictive, and it might make some people quit. That said, underneath it all is an exceptionally well-designed survival game packed with things to do, set in a unique world with crafting systems that are actually fun instead of tedious. One of the weakest aspects is the resource management and the constant lack of inventory space. Sure, you can throw away junk, but first you'll have to overcome the Stone Age hoarder living in your brain. If you're the kind of player who vacuums up everything, good luck with that. You'll also end up memorizing the map, which is probably good brain exercise anyway. And seriously - play it in co-op if you can. It's probably a one-and-done experience because the world is entirely handcrafted rather than procedurally generated (item respawns don't really count), but that one playthrough is going to be a very, very long one. Overall: Addictive gameplay loop, rewarding exploration. Nostalgic inspiration, engaging story, humorous tone. Responsive developers, frequent updates improve experience. UE technical issues and poor optimization. Poor combat and weapon balance. Slow, grindy progression, lacks content.

lowkey, one of the best games ive played in a long time, i owned it before but never played, now i did and regret not playing earlier
Abiotic factor combines two of my favorite things: Original Half life and SCP. A game where you play in a Black Mesa like facility as a scientist after a security breach. There are solgers clearing the facility out, anomalies and creatures who escaped, and portals into other dimensions. Pretty much the recipe for a chaotic, fun and clever multiplayer experience. I can’t even imagine the chaos with 6 other fellow scientists. The game is made with incredibly a lot of love. Filled with references, jokes and crossovers. I found myself reading every e-mail, listening to every line of dialogue, and appreciating all the little details that made the facility as charming as it is. The game is incredibly immersive in my opinion. The map is one massive interconnected facility. I got lost all the time, my friend was laughing at my poor sense of direction. 10/10. There is environmental story telling as you progress in the story, with enemies’ spawns and such. The base building is great. You re use the furniture and cabinets from around the facility to build your base. You can as well craft barricades, traps, shelfs, etc. You pick a corner to make your home, it will be messy, minimalistic, and absolutely an OSHA violation. I love that you can just infinitely stack boxes, what lead to an insane storage system. Your base needs power. How do you supply it? Obviously, you connect plugboard into another plugboard until the whole base is a fire hazard, ready to break any moment. But that is how science works right? We went in completely blind, not even knowing how long the game takes to complete. Every time it felt like the final area, we got send to a new place. I am pleasantly surprised by the length of the game. I must say some areas feel a bit emptier, but so many are just amazing to be in. The game has few crossovers like one with “voices of the void” amazing side area for you to explore. And Core Keeper (what is one of my all-time favorite games). I felt like I am hallucinating when I entered the area, I didn’t know this is part of them game, until I saw the thing, and got mind blown. Some things I didn’t like The journal needs improvements. It’s hard to find what you are looking for. And when you get a prompt to look into your journal, it doesn’t even tell you where to look. Pressing “j” should automatically bring you to the entry. Enemies become bullet sponges later on. You run out of ammo easily, until the very end where you don’t even bother picking it up. The grind near end game was annoying. Conclusion: are you fork lift certified?
I believe I need to, uh, defecate.
SCP Containment Breach
