Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 30/day in the week to Sep 1 → 34.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Home to the world's greatest minds, GATE operates a global network of secretive research laboratories, spanning every field of scientific study - and the realms beyond.
As a GATE employee you extend the bounds of human knowledge, and seek to explain the unexplainable - including anomalies and paranormal entities: from gravity-distorting artifacts to supernatural creatures with an unbridled instinct for violence. Safety, security, and secrecy are of the utmost importance… usually.
After a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace has become a cosmic battle zone: anomalous entities are on the loose, enemies from other dimensions are invading via portals, and an arcane military sect - known as The Order - is targeting personnel and entities indiscriminately, aiming to seize artifacts and put an end to the chaos.
Containment procedures have failed and help isn’t on the way. Stranded miles beneath the surface, it’s up to you and your fellow scientists to band together, plan your escape, and make this underground complex your new home - for now.

Abiotic Factor brings a 90’s sci-fi twist and rich character progression to the multiplayer open world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players can choose their PhDs, build their scientist, gear up, and explore a massive subterranean complex, filled with supernatural artifacts, transdimensional foes, and science experiments gone awry.

Between alien threats hunting their next meal, trigger happy soldiers, and the world’s most advanced robotic security forces attacking personnel working overtime, there’s no shortage of danger. As a scientist, fighting isn’t your forte, so you’ll need to put your PhD to work to outwit your opponents: craft ingenious and outlandish tools, weapons and gear, from simple nets and wooden bats to laser-cannons and elaborate traps - everything your big science brain can muster!

Make yourself at home - you’re here for the long haul. Scavenge resources from vacant offices and empty labs, raid vending machines, and steal company property to build a new base of operations as you explore the facility. When it’s time for a change of scenery, pack up your belongings and move them across the facility using handcarts, forklifts, SUVs, teleporters, and more.

Don your lab coat and earn your PhD: from Phytogenetic Botanist to Defense Analyst and Archotechnic Consultant (and many, many more), each with its own advantages essential to survival. Combine traits and skills, then level up to earn perks and abilities with your fellow scientists to forge a formidable scientific force.

Working at GATE may have been a dream job, but dying here wasn’t part of your five year plan. Explore this massive underground facility as well as many worlds beyond and take full advantage of the most advanced technology unknown to mankind in this interdimensional sci-fi adventure!

I almost never leave reviews on games, but I think this one definitely deserves one. I had this game sitting in my library for a while before I actually started playing it with one of my mates, and I honestly regret not starting it sooner. This game ruined all other crafting, survival, and open-world games for me. Ever since we completed it, I’ve been trying to find something that gives me a similar experience or at least makes me feel the same way Abiotic Factor did. I can’t wait for future expansions. I highly recommend this game if you’re into sci-fi, survival, base building, and crafting.

JANET! I've created a black hole in my nether regions!
A total blast if you love survival crafting games with a unique charm and flair. The graphics and humor are really fun, with models bringing PS1 imagery to mind with semi-disconnected hands and pixel-painted textures. Monster designs are cool and unique (and, since this is Science Apocalypse Land, they more often than not come with well thought-out, if occasionally humorously pretentious, entries), and it's very quick and easy to learn how to manage, fight, circumvent, or sometimes even befriend them. And the sound design? Excellent. While this game does sometimes toe the line of horror with its monsters or areas in a way that may be uncomfortable for some players (for example, open water sections, Weeping Angel-like enemies, or low-visibility segments), the game itself is fairly light-hearted, and even the spookier sections are either short, or you are quickly given means to manage the threat or the elements that unnerve you. You're a scientist. There's always a workaround. And of course there's loads of QOL features in the settings, especially in regards to sound effects. Don't like the screams in the distance? Turn them off. Bodily function sounds? Silence. So on and so forth, and each have unique settings so you can pick and choose the ones you're okay with. The item system and crafting is incredibly intuitive, even for those unfamiliar with the genre. Any time you pick up a new item, even the most unassuming, you instantly know whether or not you can make anything with it. This can be immediate recipes, or items that you can craft down the line but haven't discovered everything for yet. This makes it very easy to tell what you can save, and sometimes in what quantities, or whether you're safe to leave it. This applies to everything ranging from weapons, to fishing, to food, to clothes, to the very fun distillation mechanic. And oh, did you accidentally leave behind an important item, or was your inventory too full? Don't worry! Pretty much every item in the game can spawn in one of the game's many "anteverses," functionally portal worlds, and those worlds reset every couple in-game days. So even if something vital clips off the map, it'll be back. Even the scarcest resources can be hoarded, given enough time. Amass as many desk lamps as you desire. So many you can't walk around your base. It's fine. You can do that. And it's in fact extremely fun to collect useless crap. Make any living space unbearable with endless arcade machines. Never catch a sound cue ever again. It's incredible. I also adore the skill/level system this game employs. It isn't the typical "pick up a book and learn the skill" system. To get better at something, you have to actually practice it. Want to be the team chef? Pan-fry some stuff until you learn to make soup, then keep making soup until you figure out how to build an oven. Want to be a tank? Get hit, or get really good at using shields. Want to carry a lot of heavy items? Weigh yourself down (but not too much!). Want to be a sniper? Make a crossbow and shoot stuff, or use a gun if you get lucky enough to find or make one. There are loads of skills, all with linear trees, and all with balanced time-story progression and/or ways to get better at them more quickly. If you have a preferred style of gameplay, you WILL get better at it, simply by doing it. Stealth. Melee or ranged combat. Fishing. Agriculture. Construction. Cooking. Throwing. Medicine. Running fast. There's a plethora of them, and they're all fun to work towards, whether deliberately or passively. While the game is splendid, it does suffer from some physics issues. Pests love to breakdance when they die, which is really funny to watch, but can make carving them after the fact an ordeal and a half if you don't wanna wait the 10ish seconds it might take them to stop. Vehicles and dropped resources can, on rare occasions, clip through walls or floors to inaccessible areas or the Below The Map Death Ether. Even the loot you drop upon death. BUT! The game takes several measures to mitigate this inconvenience, such as resource respawns mentioned above. Every drivable vehicle has a "recall" button in the area you first find it, so any vehicle you lose can be retrieved. Death bags always respawn in the closest stable point relative to where you died, so it'll never be in a pit if you fall off the map to your death (which you kind of have to deliberately do anyway). And if that's not possible, the death bag spawns in the beginning area of the game, which is never more than about a minute out of your way, thanks to the circuitous nature of the map. The game is always adding more QOL features, and the team is very receptive to feedback and bug reports, so it's extremely rare for anything to be worse than a mild annoyance, and those happen less and less with each update. Besides, sometimes it's fun to break the physics on purpose a little bit to parkour to weird areas. Sometimes, geometry jank is your friend. All in all, this is an extremely fun game, and a very easy one to lose track of time in. Which is a good thing I think lol. Even if I put it down for a while, I always find myself coming back to it. Either alone or with friends, I can guarantee you that you'll have a fantastic time.

hermoso juego.
This is a 20 hour game that's been eexxxppppppaaaaaaannnnnnnddddeedddd into a 60+ hour experience and when writing a review you can't just judge the first half of the game. The back half of the game is a absolute slog, upgrades are incredibly incremental and the level design take a steep nose dive around the dam area. It sucks because I really like the first few zones but it becomes a series of linear roadblocks and enemies that are always too tanky for what ever gear you just crafted. Materials get too grindy too. The skill system is almost entirely useless, it takes way to long to grind out skills for little to no reward. It feels like a huge missed potential overall. How to improve the game: It should not be one area at a time for multiplayer, you should have to bring things from two zones together to continue, exploring one area at a time and running back and forth between bass is just really annoying (example: to get synchrotron working you should need to collect things from both manufacturing and the quarry instead of having to tackle each at a time) Skill tree with points afforded by level, like skyrim. Something actually worth grinding for Option to lower health of enemies, they get annoyingly tanky by late game and combat would be a lot more fun if it didn't take minutes to kill some common enemies. Also increase gun damage, feels weak for how rare bullets are Make gate/Latin guy chests respawn
