About
Abducted: The Night Hunters plunges players into a suspenseful world devastated by an alien invasion. Set in Canela County, where sprawling fields, abandoned farms, and deserted homes serve as the last refuge for a few remaining survivors, you’ll take on the role of one of three unique characters, each facing the unyielding threat of The Grays. These relentless alien entities patrol the rural landscape, hunting for the last humans left on Earth.
With each playthrough, the experience shifts: enemies and resources are dynamically randomized, creating an evolving challenge for survival. Traverse the open countryside and scavenge every nook and cranny for food, weapons, and documents that shed light on the origins and impact of the invasion.
Key Features:
Survive Canela County: As night falls, The Grays emerge on their hunt. Explore the eerie open world and immerse yourself in an oppressive atmosphere where any sound could mean impending danger. Encounter alien forces and face tough decisions—run, hide, or fight.
Resource Management: Keep an eye on your hunger, thirst, and fatigue levels. Physical stamina depletes as you run, jump, or engage in melee attacks. Keep moving but conserve your energy for when it truly matters.
Exploration and Scavenging: Resources are randomly located across each game. Search houses, furnishings, and abandoned structures to find essentials like food, water, medicine, and weapons for your survival.
Limited Weaponry: Melee weapons are common, but firearms are rare—and ammunition even scarcer. Every bullet is precious, and every encounter requires caution.
Vehicles: Some vehicles are still operational despite the solar storms that ravaged Earth before the invasion. Use them to navigate Canela County and escape dangerous situations, but be mindful of fuel—a valuable and limited resource.
Night Hunt Mode: Take on the ultimate challenge: survive a never-ending night as long as possible. How long can you hold out?
Abducted: The Night Hunters delivers a brutal survival experience designed for players seeking an authentic challenge where each choice counts, and every resource is a lifeline. Confront the horrors of an alien invasion, uncover Canela County’s secrets, and fight to survive one more day in a world with no mercy.

Reviews
Just read! It's so sad to see the good game being completely unknown. Perhaps you're not sure about quality of this game. I understand, - it only has a few reviews, and yep, it's only made by one person, which usually means that the game wouldn't be good enough, but this one... is surely exception. Frankly speaking, i also thought it's going to be something typical, like most of modern indie horror games. And yet, "i gave it a try", and completely changed my mind. This game is awesome, and here's why: 1) Map and surroundings. There is a huge and own-styled terrifying world out there for an alpha version. You shouldn't say "the graphics are bad", - for a horror game they totally fit! This game is an open world experience with a lot of buildings, some of which can be only accessed with tools which can be spawned in special places. Some zones have secrets hidden beneath, or unique species. There are many places you can discover. And it's all just an alpha. 2) The atmosphere and idea is wonderful. There are not many horror games which look frightening, especially without being paranormal. And it's not about the jumpscares, - when the night comes, the aliens (not ghosts, not monsters, but the aliens!) are making you feel completely unsafe. The sky turns violet, the unknown black flying materia on the edge of the world looks especially good, the lights appear from the sky intending to find every living creature which is not an alien, the UFOs are flying around lighting every possible spot of the world, and the aliens... you can never rely on safety, but your hearing and hiding skills might help you survive. And yup, the mechanics are special. It's not just "running all nights". By playing this game you're getting better and better, - you're getting used to scary noises and other effects of game, which are, to be honest, are very well made. You're also learning the map, - you know where to find different stuff and what places you should better visit on the early stage of survival. 3) Two game modes, possible co-op in the future and the developer's effort. There is a free roam, where you can practice and save your progress by sleeping during the day. There is also a hardcore mode, where your death would be fatal, - you'll lose the progress, but your result will be placed on the leaderboards. Both modes are fun. And as was told on the official discussions, there are plans for co-op in the future. The developer has a lot of plans for this game. For now you can still find the bugs, lack of possibilities etc etc, but there will be way more stuff in the future, which is really great news, because, i as i truly believe, it's going to become a real survival game, where you can spend a lot of happy (scary) hours. This game deserves to get popular, and i really hope it will. P.S. Thanks a lot for awards!
Ok, first thing's first: I gave this game a 'thumbs up' because it's got potential, and if the dev keeps working on it, they might just make it great. Otherwise, the game is a bit too raw right now. The good: 1) This game is spooky! Especially when an alien comes at you at full speed, or when a flying saucer 'finds' you. 2) The soundwork is amazing! 3) The idea is just great. So many games deal with alien invasions, but I don't think I ever saw a survival game that deals with the subject that's also a sandbox. 4) Collectables. There are various papers (posters, letters, documents) you can find around the game world that add to the immersion, give hints, and just add a bit to the fun factor. The bad: 1) Unity engine. Yes, it's a negative. 2) There are several issues regarding optimization and interaction with the game world (I couldn't pick up items on at least two occasions, despite the pickup markers appearing). 3) No crouching or stealth - I feel that for a game like this, they are required, at least in a very basic form. Nitpicks: 1) There's a grainy filter that can't be turned off. I get that the dev might have added it in to add to the game's atmosphere or whatnot, but I hate visual filters in general, especially grainy ones. 2) I'm not sure if the game has any audio hints for when the protagonist needs water\ food\ rest, but if not, they should be added in. 3) The car camera and handling need improvement in my opinion.
I hate UFOS, I'm too scared of them, I played this like 15 minutes and say "no, I can't, good bye" If I'm scared now, I dont want to now how much I'll be when this game is better!
ive played alien isolation ive played dead space and ive played aliens vs predator but this is different its like the movie signs if it was a game i think what makes it bloody good is that its the most unique game ive ever seen in years there are things that need a bit more improvements 1 the graphics are alright but they can be better 2 make the space ship a little more bigger and less cartoon look 3 make the day and night cycle a bit more longer 4 make it so you actually kill the aliens i had a fire axe and tryed to attack the alien but it doesnt do anything its only use for cutting planks final improvements 5 make the map bigger and make it so you dont die instantly form thirst or hunger make it so when your starving you slowly start to lose hp and you walk slow. spread as much of the game as possible so famous youtubers try the game out and the viewers try the game out so i would highly recomand this masterpiece
This review has been written at September 2nd 2021, so i could edit it in the future as the game gets more updates. Where do i start? Let's try with the atmosphere, which is pretty well done, it is the best part of the game, the grays are terrifying and is hard to escape from them once they get you, i cannot say the same thing about the UFOs i think the AI could be better, is pretty easy to avoid them even when are so many of them and is easier when you get in at a car. Talking about cars, if you want to survive more nights just get in at one of them, you´ll make 10 nights at least with them, the gas runs out slow, unfortanely i can't say the same thing about food, water and sleep. These ones run out pretty fast, you can go from 100 to 0 in just one day which doesn't make sense to starve or die of thirst in just one day, the game continually respawn food and water at the same places though, so i will say is ok. At the beginning i talked about the AI of the greys, it is good but not perfect, you can avoid them by simply just get in the car and not getting out of it, the grays will get closer and will start to move the car, the screen will get blurry and you won't be able to move but that's it, the greys won't try to get you out of the car, i do not know if is a bug or they are not programmed to do that, i hope the developer can fix it. The map is fine, you can tell it is small from the start but it has many places at it and the game rewards you by exploring it with suplies, you can get lose at the beginning and you'll have to play many times to get memorized the map. The game is good, it has scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me many times with the grays (and they still doing it) and the UFOs do their part too, you will feel the tension at every moment, at the day by founding places where to sleep and to find food and water which are not easy to find, at the nights by the alien creatures hunting you at every moment. The game has its flaws but you get used to it fast, i would say this game has more to offer in the future and i'll be following it, it's a matter of time this game gets famous on Youtube and Twitch. Oh, i forgot to say... if you think the game is prety easy from what i've described, try with survival mode, lets see if you can survive more than a minute.
