A Twisted Tale

Ha te is úgy gondolod, hogy a ‘90-es évek után is született megannyi jó kis hagyományos kalandjáték, bátran adj neki egy esélyt! Csoda egyelőre nem született, de még messze a történet vége. Es ist ein sehr hübsches Spiel, mir gefällt die Oberfläche und den Humor. Allerdings geht mir der Typ im Antiquitätenladen übelst auf dem Sack und er ist immer so Negativ. Hab es noch nicht durchgespielt, werde dies aber noch tun, da ich gerne Wissen möchte, was noch passiert :) Die Rätsel im Spiel sind für mich sehr knifflig, da ich solche Spiele nicht oft spiele. Auf jedenfall "Daumen hoch" !!! Weiter so. Peace

This is a fun little point and click adventure game created by a single person in Germany. This is merely the first of seven planned chapters, but I look forward to playing through each and every one of them as the series continues. There isn't much of a core storyline. The main character plays with a Rubik's Cube of sorts and gets shunted through a mysterious portal into a surreal little world full of odd people and places. She then has to navigate her way to re-opening the portal. It doesn't sound like much, but there are a host of interesting characters with a lot of dialogue along the way, and that makes up for it. The music is nice, the game is well voice acted, and it's always a treat to support a game created by a single individual like this. You can tell it is a labor of love and I hope more people find this under the radar gem.

When I first got hold of the demo for A Twisted Tale over two years ago, I could only leave hungry for more. Even within the space of a single room, it showed the kind of adoration for a genre that's downright infectious. Between clever craftsmanship, playful puzzles, and admittedly some slight snags, it's hard to tell as of yet whether it's the start of a point-and-click renaissance given that this is just one part of seven. But what's here is plenty charming as-is. Cooles Point & Click Adventure mit Retro Charme, tollen Zeichnungen und lustigen Rätseln. Glückwunsch an die Entwicklerin, die das Game ganz alleine auf die Beine gestellt hat! Freue mich auf die weiteren Kapitel. Empfehlenswert!

Huge congratulations to the dev for chapter 1! Point and Click games are one of my favourite genres, and i had a blast playing this one. You can tell a lot of heart and soul has gone into it. Really excited for the chapters to come, will be buying them day 1 <3

Well... es tut mir so leid eine negative Bewertung dazulassen. Das Game sieht gut aus, aber Optik alleine reicht einfach nicht. Chapeau an den Entwickler! Es ist schön, wenn sich Leute an dem Genre erfreuen und neue P&C Games rausbringen. Aber dem Game fehlt es an Tiefe und Story. Man wird einfach so in das Game geworfen, mit einem sehr kurzen Intro und ja...da sind wir jetzt in der anderen Welt und finden mal einen Weg zurück. Wäre okay, wenn nicht der Weg dahin total nichtssagend ist. Man interagiert mit den Charakteren dieser Welt ohne einen roten Faden zu haben. Keine interessanten Geschichten, einfach sinnloses Kombinieren der Gegenstände. Ich musste an einer Stelle neu laden, weil das Kombinieren eines bestimmten Gegenstandes nur in einer speziellen Reihenfolge klappte, was nicht revidierbar war und vorher nicht ersichtlich. Es war einfach sehr langweilig. Man hat keinerlei Emotionen zu den Charakteren. Es soll 7 Kapitel geben, vlt kommt noch Fahrt auf in der Story, aber Lust habe ich nicht auf den nächsten Teil. Muss man dafür dann auch nochmal zahlen? For free würde ich mir das vlt nochmal anschauen. Vlt auch nochmal für 3 € zusätzlich, einfach um zu sehen ob es besser wird. Aber ansonsten leider eher Zeitverschwendung gewesen, was wirklich sehr schade ist. Ach und die Synchro. Man kann sich dran gewöhnen aber irgendwie fand ich das Abmischen der Lautstärke der verschiedenen Stimmen verbesserungswürdig. English war definitiv besser. Und ein Shortcut für alle interagierbaren Gegenstände wäre auch nice :)

Ich war überrascht wie schön dieses Spiel ausschaut. Das wurde dann aber getrübt durch die fehlende Story. Nach 3h Spielzeit hab ich keine Lust dieses Spiel weiter zu spielen, was sehr schade ist, da ich dieses game sehr gerne Supportet hätte. Ich liebe Point and click games, aber ich war schon lange nicht mehr so gelangweilt von einem Point and click game. Sehr Schade

Wenn ich lese, dass es ein Erstlingswerk ist, WOW, Gratulation! Schönes Point & Click Game, sehr gerne habe ich dieses Spiel unterstützt. Und sehr gute deutsche Vertonung, freue mich bereits auf die nächsten Episoden!

There is a lot to like about Chapter 1 of A Twisted Tale: from the hand drawn art style, decent voice acting (I especially like the antique shop owner) and music which complements. The puzzles were mostly logical with some that were challenging at times. I would have like to have seen some more world building in this chapter but overall I had a fun time. I am very much looking forward to the next instalments.
