Game is abandoned; developer "finished" the game but most of it is broken and actually unfinished, there is just technically 1 way to get a rushed watered-down ending. Game has not had real expansions of content in years---developer just doesn't care anymore, DO NOT BUY
Developer abandoned the game. The 1.0 version which was supposed to be a finished product, was (and probably still is) full of developer comments about features being in development, some "questlines" are only doable via "temporary solutions" like buying points from the character to progress. The game had potential but its a mess, i would not recommend buying this game or any other future game from the developer, because who is to say he dosn't get bored of that one halfway through development again.
Unfinished, abandoned by the dev, and still containing bugs.
Don't buy it. They deliver updates on patreon, but not here. Additionally, they've started working on an entirely new game altogether, which means less development time for this one. This game is likely abandoned.
played this years ago i saw full update played again nothing new wtf
You can see the point that they said "I am done" with this game. Up to that point this game was pretty good i can not say i recommend this game since they did just take the money and moved onto the next project. big miss opportunity since if they did this game right it might make other buy there next game
People are right in saying this game's unfinished and abandoned. Tones of spelling errors and typo's, dialogue mislabelled with the wrong characters name, certain dialogue being repeated. Also feels like certain side stories end abruptly or aren't developed enough. Like Effie's, for example, has you go on one actual date with her and that's the end of her story when it feels like it's only just getting started. There's also a lot of different locations to visit that don't really have a purpose, no characters who live there or stories which take place there. It's just odd and more evidence of it being unfinished.
Do not buy! The game is unfinished, was abandoned and the dev started work on another game (to abandon at a later point I guess).
✨A TOWN UNCOVERED✨
!!!MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS!!!
STORY
🔸 The game takes place in a small town. Our protagonist, Jack (name can be changed), lives with his family (although devs try to hide it and offer to choose at the beginning who they are to us) attends university and is trying to spice things up with something more interesting. It seems like nothing could go wrong, but by some chance, our hero finds himself in another reality where debauchery is permitted. At first, it seems like the perfect opportunity to enjoy the time, but it turns out things aren't so fun after all.
GAMEPLAY
🔸 A visual novel in a sandbox setting. You have a phone with quests and stats, a backpack, and a map with numerous locations. The only drawback is that they aren't labeled. You can complete only the main quests, or you can spend more time playing the game and complete side quests to unlock more new scenes. Overall, a fairly classic representative of this genre. There's a lot of dialogue and repetitive actions, as we have to go home, go to bed, and so on. If you're a big fan of these types of games, I think you'll definitely find it entertaining. 🔸 REPLAYABILITY - The game is quite long even for a single playthrough, but you're unlikely to see every scene. If you're patient, you can try to unlock everything in one go or replay it later.
VISUAL
🔸 ART - The graphics are very unique. It's made in a very minimalist style, which is quite hard to accept now, considering how other games look. I must admit, I still couldn’t get used to it, even after several hours of playing. 🔸 ANIMATIONS - There are some in adult scenes, but it's hard to call them full-fledged animations. More like switching between several frames. It's not something they usually add to 2D games, so they could have done without it here, or at least made it better.
ADULT CONTENT
🔸 The game features a large number of female characters with whom you can interact and engage in a wide variety of sex scenes. But don't expect anything hardcore. It's all pretty classic. 🔸 GALLERY - Yes, you can view the gallery from your room.
SOUND
🔸 MUSIC - Simple but pleasant background music during the game. 🔸 VOICE - There is no voice acting, but there are additional sounds.
STEAM FEATURES
🔸 ACHIEVEMENTS - no. 🔸 TRADING CARDS - 5 cards.
CONCLUSION
Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of sandboxes. Getting even one full scene takes a fair amount of time. But that's subjective. Overall, the game has a decent, if somewhat cliched, plot, plenty of adult scenes, a wide variety of quests and items, and character stats. Visually, the game is unimpressive. It's sometimes very difficult to enjoy the game when you see the lack of detail in the characters' bodies and backgrounds. And at first, until you remember what this or that building on the map is, it will cause additional difficulties. If you enjoy this visual style, it's definitely worth giving the game a try; otherwise, you won't be missing out on much. I've never changed my review so many times for one game before, and sadly, I'm not sure this will be the last time. Though nobody likes a braggart, the fact is that I'm a software architect an industry consultant who has worked for the biggest names around, sand also an adult media producer as a sideline. So this is 100% in my wheelhouse to analyze, criticize, and even remediate if the developer can be humble enough to accept professional help. So for a quick rundown of what is an is not there... Completeness - it's not. It's not even ready for Beta. Why? Placeholders. It's one thing to abuse the term "early access", but don't call it 1.0 when it fails to meet industry standards for a Beta. There's no placeholders in a release candidate. Art - it's okay. One can clearly see it's not trying to give high-detail images. While it does include very explicit situations, the lack of detail makes it more of a visual aid for the imagination. Personally, I found it refreshing since it adds a touch of innocence to go with the overtly lewd social relationships. Writing - uh... well... let's just say I can tell the writer hasn't had a whole lot of experience with women, or adults, to draw from. Perhaps it's just right for someone of a particular age. There's tons of bugs in the wording, lots of places where a hard-coded term should have been a tokenized string, and it looks wrong in the end (I'm trying hard not to reveal a spoiler here, hence the technocratic vagueness). ...And really, there's just way, way too many words to be interesting to read. Nobody gets turned on by small talk and drivel. I skipped most of it. Story - the main story itself isn't terrible, but it's extraneous and tends to lead you away from the more interesting exploring. Important characters have side-stories which tend to be more sexy and and organic feeling. It feels like the ending was very rushed and bit over the top, in a non-sexy way. An Ethics - this is surprisingly the main area where the product shines. Your protagonist character is a typical "dude" in some ways, but unlike the vast majority of "adult" games out there, he manages to act like a young adult most of the time. You won't find yourself wading through volumes of fart jokes, misogynistic tirades, reducing women to nameless objects, or violating non-consent. I would not be horrified at the thought of this being the first sexual media that one of my young family were to consume, because it's not gross or unethical, and that says a lot compared to most 'adult' games out there. Sadly, I cannot recommend this for purchase, mostly because it's simply not done yet, and it was not ethical for the developer to call it a "release" when it's still several development cycles away from a release candidate. So we will see: is the developer going to stand up and admit he botched it and make a commitment to actually fix, finish, and polish a final product? Or is he going to take our money and run, which seems to be the case right now? ...?
