Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

j'ai beaucoup aimé le jeu de innocence à requiem
I didn't expect such an ending
My Honest Review of A Plague Tale: Requiem After Getting 100% and Platinum in Both GamesSo, I’ve officially 100% completed both A Plague Tale games. It’s been quite a journey, and I can tell you one thing: Requiem is an absolute masterpiece, even though it tested my patience on the way to the finish line.Comparison with the First Game (Innocence)Compared to the first game, the developers really outdid themselves. Innocence was a fairly linear and modest stealth game where you mostly hid in corners. In the sequel, Amicia turns into a total powerhouse of vengeance. With a crossbow, a knife, and tons of alchemy, the gameplay feels much more aggressive and deep. The locations are massive now—they aren’t just corridors anymore, but huge arenas where you choose your own path. And the scale of the catastrophe is mind-blowing. When an absolute sea of 300,000 rats bursts out and literally tears down buildings instead of the tiny swarms from the first game, it feels like a true next-gen experience. What Really Hooked Me (Pros)The visuals are absolutely stunning—the landscapes of Southern France, the facial animations, and the lighting look spectacular. The chemistry between Amicia and Hugo gives you goosebumps. I also have to highlight the music; it's incredible and perfectly drives the sense of panic. I actually looked it up online to see who made this masterpiece—the composer is Olivier Derivière, just in case anyone else wonders about the tracks playing in the game. And the finale... it’s completely heartbreaking. The story matures along with the characters, and the ending leaves you with such a powerful emotional void that it takes a few days to recover. The game is amazing, and I am eagerly waiting for Part 3. I can't wait to see where this dark world goes next. What Pissed Me Off (Cons and Bugs)As a completionist, I have to call out the frustrating parts because going for 100% here is a real test of sanity. The game completely kills the fun with its skill progression system (Prudence, Aggression, Opportunism). They level up automatically based on how you handle encounters. Because of this, it is physically impossible to get 100% in a single playthrough. You are forced into New Game+ to deliberately ruin your preferred playstyle just to fill up those stupid bars for the achievements. The second major downside is the technical state. Scripts break out of nowhere. On my way to the platinum, I personally ran into a couple of nasty bugs. In Chapter 7, Sophia flat out refused to use her prism (Eprisandres) to save Arnaud—the command prompt just wouldn't light up. And in Chapter 9, where you need to put out the fire in the courtyard, the game glitched and wouldn't let me throw the extinguisher to progress the story. Luckily, a quick "Restart from Checkpoint" fixes it, but it definitely ruins the immersion.VerdictFor regular players, this is a solid 9 out of 10 for its incredible story. For absolute completionists who need to clear everything out—it's around a 7 out of 10 because of the tedious grind and missable souvenirs. But it is absolutely worth playing; every single minute was worth it.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The gameplay is kinda slow. A lot of cutscenes and walking. I liked the story and the bond between the siblings. The ending? I don´t remember if I ever cried because of videogame. I´m just sitting here wondering why it hit me so hard...Man..I wanted to have a good time, not end up depressed...
Man, what a good story this is, higly recommended, it gets you emotional
good game
VERY COOL
Consigliatissimo!
A brilliant and heart-wrenching story featuring familiar characters from the first game. It’s a tale of how the thirst for power and greed can blind people and drive them to do insane things, ruining the lives of innocent people. This installment offers significantly more variety in locations, companions, and story length. The game very skillfully alternates between feelings of hope and despair, calm and chaos, and confidence and doubt. Each of these shifts changes your perspective on your surroundings and forces you to either be on guard or relax, creating a positive emotional dynamic. It’s engaging to play through this story and anticipate what will happen in the next episode, all while admiring the beautiful graphics, the musical score, and the well-conveyed atmosphere of medieval France. The plot of this installment seamlessly complements the first and logically concludes the duology.
Although I’d like to add that it would have been twice as good if the developers had included a branching path leading to two endings: a “good” one - where the De Rune family survives and continues to live a happy life in Marseille, having eliminated the threat posed by Victor and other antagonists - and a “bad” one - the one featured in this game. That would have provided motivation to play through the game twice and experiment with different tactics and decisions.
Pros:

Atmosphere. The graphics, music, and level of detail in the locations - it’s a complete immersion in the story.
Companions. Unlike other games, where companions are always taken away under obviously contrived plot devices, in this one - just like in the first installment - a companion (or even two) is almost always by your side, which helps you form an attachment to the characters and empathize with their fates.
Intuitive gameplay. The interface and locations are intuitive and don’t require any extra steps to figure out.
Story. It’s exciting to play through the game and unlock new chapters that bring you closer to the resolution.
Variety. From Provence and the Mediterranean Sea to ancient Roman structures and dungeons, from rulers and military figures to bandits and pirates - there’s plenty to see in this game.
Cons:

Minor bugs. Sometimes a companion can’t follow Amicia and gets stuck. Or rats teleport from the lower floor to the upper one. But these are rare occurrences and don’t affect the overall experience.

Victor de Arles’s death comes too quickly. For such a despicable character, developers could have come up with something more serious as revenge than just a blow to the head with a rock.

Overall, the game left a positive impression in terms of gameplay and a complex emotional impact from the story. That’s why I’ll be eagerly awaiting future games from Asobo.
