About
REACH THE PEAK
Pull yourself up a treacherous mountain to reach the legendary Peak, where eternal glory and a wonderful gift awaits. This journey demands complete mastery in the legendary art of climbing.
Game includes one free expansion, a completely new, bigger adventure featuring a full second chapter that’s more brutal, more ambitious, and absolutely not easier.
No deaths or violence.
Just the constant fear of falling and losing all your progress. Perhaps that is worse…
Physics based climbing.
Use only your mouse to control the arms of the climber. Gamepad supported.
Endless suffering.
The world record is under 4 minutes. You, however, will be here for hours. Possibly forever.
Legs... You cannot use your legs for some reason.
FAILURE IS A TEACHER. EACH FALL IS A LESSON.
Embark on a philosophical journey, uncover lessons of ancient wisdom and who knows... perhaps even the meaning of life itself?
ETERNAL GLORY AWAITS YOU AT THE PEAK
Conquer each of the 7 uniquely designed areas that make up this one colossal mountain to receive the grand prize.
A completely new, bigger adventure featuring a full second chapter that’s more brutal, more ambitious, and absolutely not easier. Adds 9 completely new zones and is included with the game.
“The ascent has become familiar… almost comforting. But alas, far below, within the endless water that binds earth to heaven, lies a glimmer of hope - and perhaps a deeper truth.”
This game is inspired by "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy", itself a homage to an older game made by Jazzuo. I aimed to capture the magic of GOI's intensely difficult gameplay, which becomes comically easy once you master it.

This and every other Pro feature is free until October 20, 2026. A free account is all it takes.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I LOVE REPETITIVE ACTION!!!! worse than getting over it, but for me a lot of value in GOIWBF comes from the narrator. Getting over it is more like a review on gaming, a comedy of sorts. This here is pure "jump, fail", it's has more "game" in it and even though it has less to offer, the offering is still of good quality. It placed itself in a difficult situation, where the gameplay is deeper, you have more to learn, but offers no really obvious guide/tutorial on how to do stuff. And that can be infuriating for people who value the process of discovery less than the repetitive action but it's easily solvable by googling "A difficult game about climbing tutorial", which teaches you the quirks you need to know to pass sections and leaves you only with task of practicing the maneuvers. Of course, if you don't like neither learning nor attempting and failing and see it only as a rage inducer, you won't like it, so don't come complaining. You have free will, you can just play something else. Take a break. Go outside. Do something you like instead

This game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥, not because I'm angry or anything. Honestly, I don't really "rage" that often, but it's because I got stuck inside a wall at the very end, I'm pretty sure, and had to restart the entire game. Please, developer, make sure that I don't get stuck in a wall again.
