For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

8 Colors Star Gaurdians + combines old school Turn Based RPG battles and reinvents them as Megaman esque bosses, most having a weakness to exploit. It's a fun, if short puzzle to figure out for each boss, usually only taking 2-3 attempts each. While short, the game is held up by it's fun writing. Each of the guardians has their own backstory and personality that while not explored in much depth, is explicit enough for things to be inferred. The best analogy is it feels like you're joining a sailor moon-esque anime mid season, lacking context for how these characters met and the establishment of their team, but understanding enough to get the gist and move along. The colors and designs are incredibly vibrant, bringing to mind a mix between 90s computer games and saturday morning anime (the previously mentioned sailor moon). I've only beaten chapter 1 so far, but enjoyed my time with the gaurdians, and I look forward to seeing what awaits me in chapter 2, and for such a low price, I reccomend giving it a shot for yourself.
Great art and gameplay, simple but fun story, rather silly 10/10

This game's pretty great, despite some minor flaws. Story's quite entertaining, got me laughing a few times, which is a big plus. Gameplay's simplistic at first, but it gradually ramps up at a mostly smooth pace. I say mostly smooth as the last few bosses gave me a lot more trouble than what had come before. I required a couple hints from a friend for the last one, that I'm not sure if I'd be able to figure out on my own. A little more in-game clarity for several things would go a long way. Graphics are very old-school, quite pixel-y, which I like. The background/story art is generally really good as well, meshing nicely with the elderly game theme. Sound's basic and retro-sounding, it gets the job done, although one little gripe I have with it is AoE attacks play the hit sound on top of itself, which can be unexpectedly loud at times if it hits everyone at once. Music's really nice, it isn't as retro as the graphics or the sound effects, but that's fine, I still like pretty much all the tracks. In conclusion: I had fun with this game, and I think it's worth the money. 8/10
It's way better than i was expecting, the story is entretaining, the characters are funny and full of charm, the dialogue and interactions are a lot of fun, the pixel art is cute and the soundtrack is really good. The gameplay is closer to a puzzle game than an RPG, you have to beat most of the bosses in a very specific way with a little bit of wiggle room for freedom in the harder ones. Chapter 1 is like a Megaman Boss Rush Puzzle thing, a lot of trial and error but it's quick and you get fun dialogue while trying to find the correct order, Chapter 2 is lineal but a lot more interesting and fun since you can apply what you learned in chapter 1 in tougher remixed rematch fights and some new bosses. Overall a very fun, chill and cute game you can beat in a single sitting.
Wish I was one of the bosses and got beat up by these Star Guardians, cause they are very cute
Seems pretty boring at first glance, and that's coming from someone who loves turn-based rpgs. Give it a go anyways, it's a fun experience
A simple and really fun RPG that acts kinda like a puzzle game when you try to figure out the best way to defeat each boss. I'd even call the arcade mode Pikmin-esque since there's a time management factor. It has all the best aspects of old school Final Fantasy without being unbearably tedious. It do get hard tho... Outside of that, the story merges with the gameplay in a really interesting way. Even if chapter 2 can be a lil long, it's worth it. Oh, did I mention the lesbians, the catgirls, and the lesbian catgirls? Yeah, this is a good game right here.
