Having run a 7th Sea tabletop game, this was a really fun return to the universe. Good stuff!
I liked this game. It was a bit short-ish but still manage to get you from beginning to end without losing itself or the reader. The LIs were not particularly endearing but they also were not annoying or obvious add ons either. All in all if your looking for a light read for an hour or two before you go to bed, this story could fill that need.
Apart from a few lapses in logic found in "7th Sea: A Pirate's Pact", such as a large ship being able to sneak up on another on the open ocean in the middle of the day during clear weather, I enjoyed the read and found most of it good. (6/10)
This interactive novel is a fantastic use of 5 dollars! I loved every minute of it and as soon as I finished I wanted to start over to make better decisions in certain places and find out what paths other choices would take me on. The writing is incredibly well done and the choices actually feel like they make a difference. It's also worth noting that I have only a basic knowledge of 7th Sea and I didn't feel like that diminished my experience. Seriously, this is a great game and I 100% recommend it.
Pacing got weird for me, started with a solid moving plot that then slowed down for some world building
