I dont recommend the Game because of one flaw that sadly can not be changed: You have to know and play the Tabletop RPG it is based on. Otherwise you will be completly lost and unable to really enjoy it. Just like me.

不要在意我的游戏时间，毕竟咱是离线玩家（笑） 词汇量很友好··· ···这个寒假玩过的文字游戏里观感不那么阴间的游戏之一（没错我就是在内涵death collector你好好想想为什么这么多人给你打差评说你文字量大而且生僻词超多，而且还是外国评论··· ···），基本不用查单词就可以看懂。 内容还彳亍，虽然平时玩得海盗题材游戏比较少但是对这个游戏还是比较喜欢滴，不过感觉没啥动力二刷了··· ···就单纯地觉得有点像普通的冒险故事，不是非常非常出彩··· ···用来消磨时间还是很不错滴 还有比较有意思的是最后可以选择成为海盗或者私掠船船长··· ···总的来说结局还是很多样化的[spoiler]所以我一个小小的老牌贵族后裔为什么会走上这样一条充满刺激的道路··· ···[/spoiler] 个人支线的话··· ···感觉就、很甜？不过好像暂时没有看到啥特别吸引的地方（） [spoiler]再，诺灵顿准将，啊不是，莫里斯船长真香！（？误）严重怀疑这个人设就是照着准将做的，棕色短卷发蓝色眼睛彬彬有礼同时又有贵族气派一丝不苟的老男人··· ···呜呜呜呜爹咪我直接斯哈斯哈当场暴毙(圆满.jpg）[/spoiler] [spoiler]再，后期会有[strike]完全不知道怎么发展起来的[/strike]修罗场剧情··· ···我整个人直接傻掉好吧？一个大任务结束之后看到这段剧情我直接~%?…,# *'☆&℃$︿★?这河里吗？这像画吗？？？来偷袭我这个年轻的小同志，不讲武德啊！（震声）[/spoiler][spoiler]如果我真的成了一个商船船长，我肯定是最能打的那一个··· ···战过海怪，医过顽疾，走过绳桥，还和最恶名昭著的海盗肩并肩··· ···传奇竟是我自己！（误）[/spoiler] 推荐用来消磨时间吧，不是非常非常出彩，但也还不错。

Eh, it's an okay game. It is well written especially with the action scenes. Started a second run through and the premise of the story was too similar for a game claiming the background change promotes multiple playthroughs. Also, it is very odd that most of the characters are female. But it's a fantasy world, so maybe all the men are meekly in this world because a lack of testosterone? Who knows. Anyway, catch it while on sale and it will be worth it.

An entertaining visual novel set in an RPG world that I quite enjoy. Plenty of choices, plenty of options, and very good writing.

[ + ] • Visual Novel/Text-Adventure, mit starkem Einfluss der persönlichen Entscheidungen • Man sollte der englischen Sprache mehr als nur mächtig sein, Visual Novels sind größtenteils in dieser Sprache verfasst • Hohen Wieder-Spiel-Wert da man sich in jedem Durchlauf anders entscheiden kann mit jeweils anderen Konsequenzen • Charaktere zeigen Tiefgang • Romance-Optionen vorhanden [ - ] • die Länge ist durchaus beträchtlich, Augenpausen sind zwischendurch ganz angenehm • ein Text-Adventure braucht nicht unbedingt visuelle Grafiken, aber durch den massiven Text fühlt man sich manchmal doch erschlagen, etwas visuellem hätte dem ganzen nicht geschadet (aus persönlichem Empfinden heraus)

This is a pretty good game for a relatively compact story size. Apparently it is based on a tabletop RPG called 7th Sea. You get to choose from 3 different backgrounds at the start that determines your initial reasons for getting mixed up with the pirates in the story. Some have claimed they didn't feel that the pirates acted like the pirates we know from history. They are forgetting one important fact: the game is set in a fictional universe, NONE of the place names have any correlation to our planet and its history. Also, it is based on a role playing game (RPG) and those tend to have people act more honorably than they would in real life. The game has several ways to explore the story, making it worth the money. I have one personal quibble with A Pirate's Pact: during the attack on Fort Freedom later in the story the right decision is harder to pick out since they all sound reasonable. I picked one and everything went bad, but I didn't feel like starting over again. A recommendation as long as you understand what you are buying.
