10 years in the making - a legend is reborn.
3D Don't Die, Mr. Robot! is a fast-paced, arcade-style collect-'em-up where you play as Mr. Robot, a little robot who is trapped in a highly dangerous and rather fruity dimension called the Neon Dunjun. The only way to survive is to collect fruits which will explode on contact, destroying any enemies in their blast radius, helping Mr. Robot to cheat death for a few more moments. To assist him further, exploding fruits set off a chain reaction, causing other fruit to explode - filling the screen with destruction and more importantly, POINTS!

3DDMR is a reboot of our PC, iOS and Console cult hit "Don't Die, Mr. Robot!" with a whole new dimension of delights! There's REMIX MODE with it's hand made challenges, ARCADE MODE with it's high-scoring but mind melting purity, and of course LIME ATTACK MODE with, well... Limes. And of course, plenty of global leaderboards for all the modes to compete in.

3DDMR is simple to pick up and play, but difficult to master. The controls are easy to learn, but the game is fast-paced and requires becoming in tune with your primal reflexes. You'll need to use all of your zen-twitch-zone to dodge enemies, collect fruit, and survive as long as possible to help Mr. Robot escape the Neon Dunjun in one piece!

Use coins you've collected in all the game modes to unlock fancy things for Mr. Robot to wear like shades, hats, shoes and body paint. Make your replays as individual as your play style!

A Message from Team ISG
Thanks for checking out our game! It's taken us 10 years but we finally did a sequel to our breakthrough console game "Don't Die, Mr. Robot!". We think we've done the original proud and improved on it in every way possible. It's really been a labour of love and we hope you have as much fun playing this as we had making it.
Much love and see you on the leaderboards.

Don’t support devs who ban you for providing healthy, constructive feedback. I went into the game’s discord server and praised this game and the dev and said I saw a lot of potential in their work. They took the compliment nicely. Upon playing the game I gave feedback such as where the game had performance issues (in chill mode for example). The dev thanked me and I told him I had more feedback and asked if he wanted to hear it. He said yes but that the game was finished. Here was my feedback copy and pasted exactly: For context the game is an arena survival game where you only move and don’t shoot while dodging enemies. Fruits spawn on the map that explode when you pick them up letting you clear enemies. If multiple fruits explode it can create a chain explosion that gives a score bonus depending on how big the chain. Ok here it is. Don’t take any of my feedback as saying the game is bad, I think it’s quite good and also fun which is most important. These are just some things I noticed 1.) moving between the spiky enemies is too finicky, likely both due to the overhead camera not being completely top down and also the enemy hitbox/player hurtbox are slightly too unforgiving. (One of the enemy spawn types involves 3 spiky enemies moving in a perfectly straight line either horizontally or vertically.) This could’ve been fixed by slightly increasing distance between the spiky enemies, shrinking the player hurtbox a tiny bit or shrinking the spike enemy hurtbox a tad. Because of the various factors, it’s possible to actually properly space yourself between the spiky enemies and not get hit, and then use the D pad and tap right consecutively while sandwiched between them and then actually still get hit even though you continued to just tap that one direction with the D pad. 2.) there’s a mechanic where you continuously gain score while you are in very close proximity to an enemy, similar to “bullet grinding” in some shoot em ups. grinding enemies unfortunately becomes useless very quickly in a run, negating the mechanic. It’s a nice idea but the detection for it to trigger requires you to be extremely close to enemies, making it not worth the risk in high level play due to the player hitbox and irregular enemy movement patterns. The score payoff for it also isn’t worth it to the point that trying to grind enemies actually can lower your overall score because it inhibits your ability to make the best fruit explosion chains (you’re basically forced to pick up fruits that you didn’t need to to grind enemies). Perhaps it should have increased score as a percentage according to your current score, different enemies may give different multipliers for it etc. this would have let the mechanic maintain its purpose and also give some decision making for which enemies to grind against. The only ones useful to grind are the spikies because of their straight trajectory, but even after a few seconds it becomes un-optimal both for survival and your score. I would have increased the distance for the grinding to trigger as well. 3.) scoring has some neat risk reward interactions but it falls short in terms of providing enough ambiguity. The result is the overarching strategy to maximize score is rather static and obvious- you want to try to not collect fruits for as long as possible and then collect one fruit to set off a big explosion, leading to a huge score payoff. This does create some interesting tension against survival as the fruits now are essentially enemies you avoid, but the scoring system could’ve used a bit more layers to it to create a bit more dynamic gameplay patterns/decision making, rather than a repetitious pattern of avoid fruits for as long as possible, make one big explosion and repeat. 4.) it’s a bit of a missed opportunity in my opinion with the 3D perspective. The game looks great but to playiy optimally you pretty much have to use the top down perspective camera option which kind of defeats the point of the beautiful 3D graphics. Perhaps the camera could’ve been incorporated more into the actual game design somehow. Overall I really like the game and I think there’s a lot of potential. The more fundamental things like the enemy types and patterns, aesthetics, and fun factor are all pretty nice. ——— Upon getting this feedback, rather than appreciating my effort to give constructive feedback, the dev simply replied dismissively “well when you make a game, let me know.” This came across as passive aggressive, but I attempted to diffuse and explain that I wasn’t trying to be negative, and responded with this: I’m not sure the purpose of that reply. My feedback wasn’t to be derogatory. I personally would think most devs would enjoy discussing game design theory and logic but it seems most times players give feedback and they see it as personal attacks or insults when it’s the opposite. If/when I make a game I would love for players particularly very skilled ones to analyze and give feedback. I see making games and art as a relationship between creators and audience. It may seem pedantic but it’s all these little details and how mechanics interact that help make a game the best it can be. Getting feedback can help me analyze things I may have not considered. It also shows someone cared enough to discuss my game with me. ——— After this, the dev immediately banned me without any warning or response back. I personally find this kind of developer extremely toxic and incapable of fostering a positive community. They make a discord server to discuss their games and then when someone actually does so, they ban what is essentially friendly and actionable constructive criticism. I do hope the dev continues to make games, but I recommend considering the value of constructive feedback and developing the ability to foster healthy discussion around your games rather than push people away who may be interested in your works.
Wonderful game. At its core, it’s a cross between Minter visuals, Every Extend bomb chaining and a whole lot of careful arcade game design. It can be tough without being stressful, the music (especially The Orb-esque chill out zone tune) is the perfect accompaniment to the game. Having enjoyed the original, I fully expected to enjoy this rework and remix but even so, I was surprised at how tight it all is. At the time of the review I’ve rocked up ten hours play and I’m looking forward to diving in for more. Love this. It’s cracking.
I am glad i give it a try. Very interesting and addictive game where we can control a little guy who "Mr Robot" collecting fruits ,destroying and avoiding obstacles to score points . With colourful graphics and soothing music make it more enjoyable. I like remix mode where there is 30 levels to be cleared, Each level has Bronze SILVER gold and platinum trophy. My most favourite part is the arcade mode where we can play it to score and compete against other's players score worldwide. Highly recommended
This is exactly like if sour candy was a game. - V satisfying and addictive, absolutely a "one more go" type of game but with achievable goals you can challenge yourself to complete to give it some direction. - The difficulty curve is really accessible so you can experience the (many) levels without having to keep practicing and re-playing to get to them, but it still has a risk-reward element and encourages you to push your score / combos as much as you can! There's also just tons of great sounding music in this which is worth playing for alone!
Peak Arcade game! The Soundtrack is awesome, the levels are awesome, it's addicting as hell!! A must buy for anyone, no matter whatever type of games you like. Enjoying it so much! 10/10!!
Just a really nice, polished arcade game. Completing levels through the remix mode and trying to get platinum on each level has been really cool too
Very fun, smart and addictive game. The basics are very simple, but the level design and missions create so much variety. I'm impressed at how this game does so much with so little, genius game design. Also, the music rules.
An extremely enjoyable arcade game, fun on a steam deck, which recalls games like Gridrunner while being entirely original.
I'm a fan of the original DDMR but this doesn't play as well and even worse has slowdown! I'm on an AMD 9800 with 4080 Super graphics card, come on!
An absolute gem of a game from ISG - dodge the robots, collect the fruit, grab coins, wear hats and try not to die The four main game modes give a healthy variety of challenge - arcade mode being the classic pacifist take on Robotron, a time attack mode which condenses the main challenge down to four minutes of trying to get the biggest chain, chill out mode slows everything down and somehow makes it more stressful. The remix mode is the main meat of the game, 50 pocket size levels with a single aim. Getting 50 platinum trophies here is going to take you a while. Absoultely the best game that ISG have produced yet, and they've had some bangers
