Check out our Steam curator , YouTube channel and Twitter!
Absolutely fun. In the basic Arcade Mode, you have to avoid the obstacles and beat them with explosions by getting the fruits. With temporary powerups, survive longer by your abilities! Mini-video >> https://twitter.com/hhfcurator/status/1567555938470744065
This game is something. You can either play it to relax or to have a pretty frantic game of bullet hell with a vengeance.
Amazing game. Addictive and challenging
Don't Die, Mr. Robot! DX is a bullet hell arcade game in which you play as a cartoon square that tries to avoid their robotic assailants while eating fruit. It's a pretty short game but highly replayable. GAMEPLAY You use your mouse to move your character around the screen. The main gist of the game is that you avoid the hordes of enemies that zoom across the screen. There can be other main objectives such as surviving for as long as possible, collecting fruits or coins, or even trying to graze enemies for danger points. If had to describe how this game felt like, I would say it feels like those flash games that someone put a lot of effort to make it play smoother and better than what is expected. There is one thing that bothers me is how moving the character can feel imprecise and slow at times, but thankfully the game isn't like insanely difficult. GRAPHICS It's nothing to write home about in all honesty. I like the vibes that the retro UI gives off when you load up at the main menu. The square is cute, I'll give it that, but the enemies look very generic. Again this game just radiates arcade energy which I love. SOUNDS Compared to the graphics, the sounds are a home run nearly all the way. I loved the electronic music that gets the blood pumping. I believe each mode has its own music, my favorite has to be the electronic remix of The Nutcracker's Waltz of the Flowers in the Chill Out mode. VERDICT This game is one of those games that graphically aren't impressive like Vampire Survivors. However the actual gameplay itself is decently optimized and very replayable. So I recommend this to folks who like bullet hell games or want to try them out because Don't Die, Mr. Robot! DX is fairly easy compared to most other bullet hell games.
