If you're looking for hundreds of hours of content, this probably isn't it. But what this game does have to offer, it does it really well. It's worth the price, especially on sale. You'll get a good 15-20 hours out of it and you'll have given all the classes a good crack. The grind is a bit rough if you're a completionist, but otherwise it's good fun, and does exactly what it says on the tin. Art style is cool as hell, decent amount of cosmetics to feel unique. It's been one of my easiest "pick up and play" games this year. I played it a fair bit on Game Pass when it was in preview, and bought it once it came to Steam too.
On Steam Deck, the game frequently disconnects from the server at, erroring to main screen and losing large chunks of progress.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

33 Immortals asks, what would it look like if a Hades-like game was a 33 person raid? What isn't answered is a competent means of actually achieving that. I really don't think 33 Immortals understands what makes a good roguelike/roguelite, between the poor relic system it uses, its massive amount of metaprogression, and somewhat dull gameplay. ## Relic System 33 Immortals, like many other roguelites, features a relic system. In each run, killing mini-bosses or clearing objectives in rooms grants you a choice of two random relics These work as you expect - they give bonuses like "fire missiles on light attack", or "heavy attacks grant +15% crit on light attacks for 3 seconds". The problem with this system is that there's a massive amount of both boring relics, and a lot of really poor relics. When I'm playing the ranged crossbow weapon, getting "create a melee range aoe wave on light attack" is useless. It doesn't help that the relics are typically very formulaic - there's a relic for "fire missiles / blast waves / chance to spawn healing orbs / chance to spawn co-op attack orbs on light attack / heavy attack / ability use". It's not common that you get effects that are particularly interesting, and there are very clearly objectively stronger combinations depending on the weapon you choose. Try comparing these to the massive variety in relics that you may get in something like Hades, Balatro, Binding of Isaac, or virtually any other similar game. ## Metaprogression - grind out those runs! The other thing that kills me is the crazy amount of metaprogression that just gives you objectively better stats. There are an amount of unlocks in this game that give you sidegrades, but tons of the metaprogression that you'll perform just gives you bigger numbers. You are at a massive disadvantage compared to veteran players until you grind out a massive amount of runs to get more currencies to buy perk upgrades with. Ugh. It's just frustrating that more of these upgrades aren't interesting or at least different options. I've said this in many reviews, but roguelike games that grant you objectively better stats with metaprogressions may as well just be RPG games. You may as well stick a level counter next to each player, because there's a good chance that'll indicate their power level more than their relics they've gotten in each run. ## Gameplay Lastly, we gotta talk about the gameplay. I can't help but compare the combat to Hades - it has a very similar system with assigning each weapon a light attack, heavy attack, and special ability. It even has dash combos for each of those, too. Unfortunately, the game doesn't feel anywhere as smooth or intuitive as Hades. *(It's even themed around climbing out of hell, which really doesn't help the comparisons.)* Besides that, the builds in Hades often result in somewhat transforming your abilities, such that any given run with the same weapon will at least feel a little different. In 33 Immortals, every run just feels the same. If the weapons had more abilities or depth to their kits, or if the relics modified the weapons more significantly, the runs would at least feel entertaining to play through. But so many of the relics have irrelevant effects, or don't require you to change how you play the game at all. After you play a few runs, the only thing the game can offer is, "what if you did the same run again, but this time it'll be mildly easier because you have objectively better stats now?" --- All in all I can't really recommend this game without significant changes. 33 Immortals has a modicum of promise, but I'm seeing failures at so many fundamental layers that I can't recommend this in good faith.
I would never recommend this game and I love all the other games from these devs. The grind is tied too much to the later areas but this game has some of the worst servers I've ever seen so not only is the grind brutal but then you hit a wall cuz no one is playing the later areas or they just cant stay in with friends for more than 5 mins without getting kicked. Theres no reason for it to be out this long with none of this balancing and server issues resolved. dont waste your time.
