About
BEFORE YOU BUY
DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER is a very simple co-op jumpscare horror experience. There are no complex objectives, puzzles, story, or deep mechanics. If you want a more complex or traditional horror game, this is not that game.
You and your friends enter a huge, pitch black forest with camcorders in 1993. Your goal is simple: reach 8:00 AM without screaming or making a loud noise. As you wander through the forest, you search for batteries to keep your camcorders powered and look for symbols scattered throughout the area. Time only moves when you do, so you cannot stand still forever. The forest is filled with strange locations, hidden traps, and the occasional hunter.
Features
• Proximity chat
• 4-player online co-op (up to 12 in testing)
• Two modes: restart or return as the hunter
• Dynamic scares make every playthrough feel new
• 1990s found-footage style
• A short, silly horror experience with friends
Set it up in-game. It's not just tech setup; it defines your experience. A mere squeak or quiet gasp should be flagged as a scream, causing you to restart.
You can talk freely using proximity chat, but keep it quiet and controlled. If anyone speaks too loudly, everyone pays the price.
You can try to bypass calibration and shout through scares, but it removes the point. The fun comes from trying to stay calm while your friends absolutely do not.
Don't Open Beer Near Mic

We even died once because my friend decided to open a beer next to his microphone.
DON'T SCREAM TOGETHER is a fun atmospheric horror game to play with a friend for an evening. The graphics and VHS-style effects create a really nice atmosphere, and the map has plenty of interesting locations to explore. I wouldn't call the game genuinely scary, but it definitely has its own atmosphere. Most of the jumpscares are basically extremely loud sounds combined with something suddenly appearing on the screen, although there were a few that were genuinely atmospheric and well done. The main problem for us was the scream mechanic. It feels a little inconsistent. We never actually died from screaming — most of our deaths happened because of some extremely quiet microphone noise or tiny sounds that somehow triggered the game. Because of that, dying often felt more frustrating than scary, especially when it happened to my friend repeatedly. The optimization was fine, though. We didn't experience any major lag, bugs, or technical problems. Despite the frustrating deaths, we had a good time exploring the map and trying to discover as many new locations as possible. That was probably the most enjoyable part of the game. I'd recommend DON'T SCREAM TOGETHER if you're looking for an atmospheric horror game to play with a friend for an evening. Just make sure you have decent microphones — otherwise, you might end up dying from a tiny noise rather than an actual scream. Note: If you've already played DON'T SCREAM, don't expect anything new here. It's the same map, the same locations, and the same jumpscares. The main difference is that now you can experience it with friends. Fun fact: If you launch DON'T SCREAM after playing DON'T SCREAM TOGETHER, you'll get the achievements again. :)

how people are giving this negative reviews i dont know. i bought this because a friend saw it and wanted someone to play with. this is genuinely horrifying, as someone who doesn't really like horrors or jumpscares, and my friend even has been getting scared by it. this is one of the best horrors i have played, please give it a good chance before hating
This game is about as scary as the Teletubbies, which for some individuals can be pretty frightening. To be honest i think floating sky babies would be scarier then the spiders walking past you in this game. The best part about this game is trying not to laugh into the mic because of fear of dying from a "ha ha" but at least the game gives you the option to lie and say i didn't scream for a quick respawn!
看到女鬼的时候老二立了
This game has potential. I don't quite see it yet. The game has youtube poop level jump scares and they don't match the theme of the area you're in. If you are going to have
an alien crash site
it beTTER HAVE
AN ALIEN THEMED JUMPSCARE
This game feels like whiplash of a cheap haunted house.

This ♥♥♥♥ is terrible! TOTAL STINKER... Like ♥♥♥♥ from an ass!
My keyboard survived. My dignity didn't.
It's just a walking simulator with mid jump scares that aren't even scary. It's just bad
My mic was the real monster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuNSxThhhSo&t=442s
