Vale a pena comprar?
30 Seconds To Jail would be more enjoyable if the UI was better. When you hover the mouse there is no indication of anything, so you will end up clicking on every single object until somethings happens. There are several notable glitches, sometimes the menus won't close or the ending won't trigger properly. The worst part is the click detection; you have to be extremely precise when placing objects, it is so bad that I missed a puzzle several times (even though I knew the solution). For such as simple game, it is not exactly polished. Not to mention a complete lack of settings. I got most of the achievements in just 60 minutes which are tied to different endings. Entire game takes place in a single house so there is not a lot of content; you probably won't get more than 2 hour of gameplay here. To be honest, the jokes were slightly amusing at best. Some of the solutions are pretty stupid, good thing the trailer spoiled some of them (sarcasm). It was hard to apply any kind of logic so I had to figure it out based on achievement names. The game does not even live up to its "30 second" concept, as you can use a lot more than that if you just don't answer the door. Pros: + slightly amusing jokes, which is also subjective (The pixel art here is average and serviceable, that is not exactly a selling point) Cons: - no settings - poor user interface - occasional glitches - pretty short
Overall Thoughts 4/10
A simple game like this one needs to be more polished. At the very least, add a description so you can see what character can interact with. The click detection is pretty awful, you have to be close to a correct place in order to place something, then you have to click into a very small hitbox. The game is not exactly hilarious and only got a few giggles out of me.
(Got this game from a developer's submission to Omega Trade - G. Thanks!)
30 seconds to review (okay, maybe 10 minutes...)
30 seconds to jail is a novelty concept about having your weed delivered to you via a trustworthy stranger...but the bad part is, the cops are onto you and are ready to bust you for possession (prohibition is still a thing in most places...). The cops will knock on your door for 30 seconds before...well... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7V8J7gwLII (If video is removed: "Always use incognito mode" with "FBI OPEN UP!") So...the game isn't really all that bad and the sprite work is quite well done. But the puzzles on how get various endings are vague...similar to the structure of the game Confess My Love, which is free on Steam. You can surrender, run away, feed the drugs to your dog or bird, make your house high, summon the ghost of Bob Marley via a Satanic ritual, and various other things. The developer says there's 20 endings, but there's only 13 achievements, meaning 13 endings (at this point in time). You'll find yourself playing this game for an hour or two before being bored and putting it away. It's a novelty concept that will keep you entertained, but not for very long. The controls screen only appears once and never shows up again...so if you don't know how to do things, then tough luck. The interface also kinda' sucks in this game, making selecting things more of a chore than they should be. There are also some useless clues that only lead to a dead end. So...worth your time? In the short run? Yes. In the long run? No. It's not bad, but it's short and requires more polishing before it's a proper product. After you get all the endings, you'll have an empty feeling inside from the experience. Buy it if you want a short thrill, but with a lukewarm payoff. Asking price is $3, but feels more like it's worth $1. Wait for a sale before grabbing 30 seconds to jail. 3/10 I think the cops would arrest me for playing this game rather than for owning drugs...
overall alright for in between.
Genre
Ein Kurzes Zeit basierendes Indie Adventure
Story
Gameplay

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
A game about Cops, drugs and Bob Marley.. sounds like a really good combination.. but is 30 seconds to jail a good game? The game itself has a very novel idea.. a stranger drops off a package of drugs, which brings the cops to your house.. you are given 30 seconds to dispose of your drugs before cops break down the door and arrest you.. You're presented with numerous ways of disposing of the drugs... including summoning Bob Marley to materialize the drugs out of existence.. The game has about 45 minutes to an hour of content, if you aren't using a cheat guides to figure out the more difficult to discover achievements... Assassin, Marley and Receipe being the only three that will provide any difficulty to a person that is famliar with puzzle game play, or has common sense.. With those three Assassin was the only one I needed to use a guide to figure out as I couldn't figure out or find the clues in the game to discover the numbers on my own.. All in all the game was a nice fun, bite sized experience that I'd highly recommend if you're the type of gamer who wants to a fairly cheap casual game to kill an hour.. Pro's Fun and unique concept Decent amount of humor Easy achievements that aren't idle spam. Con's Lack of replayability, once you beat the game, no reason exist to go back and replay it.. Lack of content (this game would have really benefitted from a few different levels, each with their own take on how to dispose of the drugs) Recommendation The games price of 2.99 is decent enough, but I feel as though the content provided might not really be enough to justify the price.. While the game was fun to play, I was left wanting more.. I didn't feel as though the price was too high, but felt like the game could have had more.. If you find it for under 2 dollars I'd say take the plunge, at 2.99, it's kind of like.. well maybe ... I guess you could find worse uses for 2.99..
30 seconds to jail is a puzzle game. As a warning, the game contains self-harm, drug use and other stuff, so just keep that in mind. While this game is not too far, it is really short. You do have a lot more than 30 seconds to plan your way to hide the drugs from the stranger, but once you open the door, the clock is on. The game lacks clarity and explanations, there are some endings that pretty much needs a guide to understand (especially the stranger one.) The art style and overall game is pretty well made, but yeah, it's short and lacks content and clarity. Overall, not worth $5, but on sale it's a cool 30 minutes long experience.
