This game... is... really... enticing... and... dramatic. It took me some time to find what words to write for the review. I thought this will be a Hidden Object Exploration game through the ship. It isn't. Fine by me. I just really like to look up items for fun. The game has multiple levels aboard the ship: "Titanic II". With each start of the level, you will get facts about what happened on or about Titanic. Afterwards you do your search and do puzzles (not every level will have a puzzle, especially when you return to it). Then comes the story. At first, I was just having fun and then without realizing, I tried to play the game as fast as I could so I could find out what happened next in the story + resolve the mystery!!! After all the trials and challenges and the last pages... you finally realize the following: 1. You wish you didn't know what happened. 2. You wish you could've done something about it. 3. Wished for something better to happen. BUT OKAY! It is a tragic story after all... what did I expect? Nothing... I came for enjoyment and stayed for some intense story line/mystery. While the ending was playing, I could barely remember what I did. I vaguely do. At last... the ending! When later on it clicks that something good happened, it will probably overwrite the bad, but the bad will still feel pain in your chest, until you finally put it away or let it go. That's... yeah... anyway... everything is said above... I appreciate the game and the intriguing story line!!! :> =) :3
Somes puzzles doesn't work properly and the graphics are not very good. But if you want more informations about the titanic, you got it.
Would not recommend--some of the puzzles are glitched and don't work at all. In addition, the story line is the laziest I've seen in a hidden object game (and that's saying a lot), and there's far too much repetition. Over 5 hours in and yet I feel as if I've made no progress. I'm not bothering to finish.
Not a bad little game - played in casual mode. Had a nice little story, if a bit goofy, with little information items on the Titanic as you went along. My only complaint is I did the final puzzle incorrectly and I didn't blow up. Oops. Improvements which would be good - achievements (of course) and frankly the art style could be up-rezzed or otherwise improved.
Well you'd be right being put off by a 4:3 game in 2019.. fact is it was originally released in 2010 (not by this developer), though it would have been considered oldschool even then. It scales to a postage stamp on my 4k display. Anyway the game itself is your standard hidden object affair, and quite a repetitive one at that.. very few locations. The graphics are not plentiful but what's there is good.. same goes for the sound, although there is no speech except for during the intro. The (short) story consists of random facts, cobbled together with a run-of-the-mill suspense twist.. instantly forgettable, unless you have a titanic fetish. Recommendation = avoid
I don't recall that i haven't recommended another game but this one i simple can't. Only the story is nice. It's HO scene after HO scene, no voice over or any interaction, pixel hunting, some really wired and obscure puzzles. I bought it like 50 cents so it's ok. If you buy it that low and don't want to finish it at once, give it a try.
This game is mostly find a object from the picture type of game. Sometimes after you found all the objects from picture you get a little puzzle game. Game tells a story about Titanic after you have solved all 3-4 pictures about areas around the ship. I have solved 50+ these pictures so far, so game is pretty long. You can play the game with a time limit if you want (I don't know what it does though, since I play relaxing mode). How good of a game this is? It's maybe 6-7 out of 10, it's not boring if you like these type of games but not exciting either.
