Pedal to the metal is a truck driving game where you do jobs and try and deliver cargo. There is police that chase you if you do the wrong things. Your truck can be upgraded. The graphics are very good for an old game I recommend this to any truck fan. 6/10

18 Wheels of Steel: Pedal to the Metal é um daqueles jogos que envelheceu, mas continua especial. Lançado em 2004, ele pode não ter gráficos realistas como os simuladores modernos, mas compensa com uma jogabilidade simples, viciante e com personalidade. Você começa como um caminhoneiro comum e, pouco a pouco, constrói sua própria empresa, contratando motoristas e expandindo sua frota. A sensação de liberdade é incrível — você pode dirigir por cidades reais da América do Norte, México e Canadá, escolher contratos e administrar seus lucros. O jogo tem aquele charme “raiz” que muitos simuladores atuais perderam: Mapas amplos para a época, com várias rotas possíveis. Sistema de carga variado, de cargas comuns até as mais pesadas e perigosas. Gestão de empresa simples, mas viciante. Claro, hoje os gráficos e sons são datados, e a física não é tão realista, mas isso não tira o brilho. É um jogo para quem quer relaxar, dirigir e curtir a estrada sem complicações. Veredito: Se você gosta de simuladores de caminhão e quer experimentar um clássico que ajudou a moldar o gênero, Pedal to the Metal vale cada minuto. 🚛💨 Nota: ★★★★☆ (4/5)
