About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

I love everything BUT the combat in this game, it lets the game down when my witchy immersion is broken to beat a literal demon to death with a stick and a stick alone
They had me at WITCH! However the combat lacks very much and definitely takes away the feeling of "being" a witch for me. If I wanted to mainly swing a staff around as my combat I would play Wukong... It definitely had potential, however there are much better games out there and this game in particular let me down tremendously. It felt like I had no freedom most of the time I played, the main character just felt lacking, along with every NPC in the game. There was nothing that could keep me hooked in this game, and the story was so bland that I ended up skipping ever cutscene possible at one point. It's sad when a game from 2026 has a combat system, story, freedom, and overall feel, could easily be one of the worst I have seen in a while even compared to games from 10+ years ago. Either pick up the AI's slack or just retire at this point.

Really cool, unique, and creative concept! I love the medieval gothic horror-like witch themes, aesthetics, and music and story. I also really enjoy the hands-off investigation gameplay. As for the cat mechanics, it feels similar to Stray game but because it's mostly a side tool here, it isn't a major game-flow issue. The game does have a few problems, such as bugs and a lack of optimization. Additionally, combat currently feels a bit stiff, mashy, and clunky. However, I hope these areas will be improved, and we definitely need more usable magic in combat. Overall, it's a solid start for Early Access, and I'm looking forward to its development and eventual 1.0 release.
I love assassins creed and I love witchcraft so this is the best of both worlds, very interesting storyline, cant wait to see what it develops into.

Full of AI. I'm sorry I can't keep playing it.
While I would not say this is the best game I have ever played, I have so far had a good time and will come back to it again. There are some things I wish were a little different or I hope to see changed as the game develops, but as far as early access goes I think there is a lot of good to work with. I went into this game super excited about the concept. I have been dying for a game where I can run around as a witch in an old European town. I think overall the writing, character design, and game concept is really engaging and has the foundations for this to be a really interesting game. I specifically really love the ability to switch between magical and unmagical forms for Noa as well as being able to switch to the cat as a further method of exploring (although I do wish the choice we make at the beginnning about which cat we picked mattered a bit more, but maybe that comes in as I continue playing and I haven't reached that yet). I think these make the open world really fun and interesting as there is so much to see, do, and experience from different perepsctives. While the graphics are not the highest quality, I don't find them distracting or pixilated to the point where it is unplayable. It is not the most detailed or "beautiful" in terms of graphics, but I am impressed with what they have presented in early access so far. I think the petal detalils are so beautiful and that the town is layed out well to include the canals. I love traveling by canal <3 I think one of the things that got in my way most while playing is the amount of NPC's on the streets. I get that they are supposed to make Amsterdam feel more lively and busy, however, the amount seems to be just a bit more than the pathfinding can handle. I think making them a bit more sparse may help with in game navigation as well as with the overall preformance of the game. This is not a dealbreaker for me but it does take some patience to figure out the best way to navigate through the city. Another thing I would note for people who do not game often, or are slow to learn a games mechanics, it can sometimes feel like there is not enough direction as to what you are supposed to be doing in a specific area. While I do appreciate the open world structure as it gives me the freedom I like while playing a game, just a few more directions in areas where it is not so clear how to get Noa into a new space or where you are supposed to be going for a specific quest would be helpful. Another thing that I would be aware of before playing is that expecially in the beginning it is a little slower and you do have to push through several sequences that are not exactly what I had expected. These sequences are interesting and do help give you a sense of the story very quickly, but are a little slower in pace than most openings in games. I will say though that one of the things that I realy didn't like in the beginning was the over use of the sudden camera angler shifts to build suspense. I get what they were trying to do but becauyse of their choppiness, frequencey, and poor timing it sort of ruined trhe suspence in the beginning. As I continued playing they make more sense in the open world sections because they draw attention to important things, but its too freuquent right at the beginning for my liking.
Do I like this game? YES. Are the controls janky as can be? YES. Does this feel like an assassins creed game where you just swap out the animus for magic? YEAH BUDDY. Do I care? NOPE. I like the story a lot it's got me hooked and I want to know how it all ends. The settings are all good (from what you can see of some of them). I think this needs a lot of polish and for some stuff to be more streamline, but it's got good bones and veins. I am only disappoint i got to the end of early access can't wait for more.
