About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

This game may not be fully polished but it has had me smiling a lot already from the Palpatine spin you can do as the witch to the bizarre choice to completely play Free bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd during whats supposed to be a frantic walk around a hotel in my pants to save someone, now should you buy it because of these reasons, definitely not BUT they are funny and whether intentional or not I'm hoping the dev team can keep me smiling through to the games completion. Aside from that the game does look pretty good for a AA game and has some interesting hooks storywise. However, so far the combat and stealth needs some improvements and the Cat controls are janky when it comes to movement. I also think the Clio segments are a bit of a drag and im hoping as we go on we only end up playing through 2 time periods and not 3. Some people have also said it runs poorly but I have not encountered that myself so far. I also did play the demo when it first launched so playtime may be a bit skewed

a little disappointed in the game:( thought it would be better.
Ganz klare Empfehlung
I'm currently giving this a soft "No". There are bones here for a good game, but the design and the direction are not good. Some inputs are inconsistent (dodging most importantly - it does nothing 25% of the time). The moment-to-moment gameplay just isn't interesting. Characters are not interesting. Some gameplay mechanics have a veneer of novelty but it wears off quickly. I just haven't found anything engaging here yet. I can see the story and maybe even the gameplay evolving into something special, but unfortunately Panache doesn't have the pedigree to make a believer just yet. Visually, the game is impressive and the performance has been good, too - at least for me.
I think its a nice game. Don't care much about AI assets that people are talking about, they did say they will replace it. The combat mode is a bit annoying and the jewelleries changes when you lose the fight and have to try and pick them again. But I noticed that it's kinda random-ish. I read it's a 15 hour game but I finished it way faster than that. Also, I was frustrated a lot trying to figure out what to do sometimes. But I still find the game enjoyable. Waiting for the update.
