About
1000 Deaths is a gravity-bending 3D platformer where your choices matter. Encounter several unique platforming hubs based on the decisions you make. Switch between 4 playable characters as the story progresses and follow them from birth to death.
Run, jump, and dash across walls, floors, and ceilings because gravity reorients itself as you play. Encounter a variety of cerebral puzzles and action-packed challenges. The only constant is the constantly changing gravity!
Play as one of four whimsical characters and help them make life-altering decisions. Build friendships, become a rockstar, rule as a corporate bigwig, or mess up your love life! Your choices also define the mechanics of the platforming levels you run into.
Interact with a world populated by talking egg yolks, sentient squiggles, and mysterious beings in purple suits. Explore sleepy Nowherestown and glitzy Jollywood, meander through the psychedelic Headspaces to find hidden collectibles and bonus levels.
You can speedrun through each level of 1000 Deaths and earn trophies! Try to get the fastest time in the 45+ Arcade levels. Or, play at the pace you want.

As a 3D platformer fan, 1000 Deaths is a nice twist on the genre! Its visuals give a nice 90s throwback feel and I'd highly recommend everyone check it out!
Great game made by a great team!
Задумка и концепция игры очень любопытны, но все портит камера в игре и управление, не комфортно играть
i loved this game!! teevee is so cute :-) this game is like mario galaxy if it had rainbows thrown up on it. i really enjoyed the branching narrative aspect. plus, all the platforming puzzles were n't too hard, but challenging enough to feel rewarding once you complete them!! i can't wait to play more and find all the little secrets
All the fun of making consequential life decisions that you can enjoy vicariously! The platforming is incredibly topsy-turvy, I get a real Kula World vibe from this game both from the "wait which way is up?" factor and from the surreal vibes. Loving the mix of narrative and platforming. I don't usually play a lot of PC games but this one had me intrigued to jump on it right away.
The game stands true to the words of mind bending platforming. The narrative takes you on a trip back to memory lane of could haves, would haves of 4 childhood friends as you explore the world with choices you make as each character. With some quirky dialogues, wonderful art direction and artstyle. The game definitely stands out and looks unique. With well crafted platforming levels and banger music in the background, the game will leave your palms sweating on the controller as you try to beat the high scores and speed run through it. Grateful to have had the opportunity to work on 1000 Deaths.
I should probably hate this game because I'm so bad at platformers, but so far I’m quite taken with 1000 Deaths. The fact that falling off the platform and dying over and over again is part of the concept feels reassuring for a wretched player like me. As I grapple with game physics and face the existential reckoning of death again and again, I am reminded that failure is OK, perhaps I don't need to take myself so seriously, and it's great to have fun and keep trying. We love the retro-surrealist graphics and sound design. The character designs and their dialogue and lore are deranged in the most endearing way. Story mode is great if you’re more here to vibe and enjoy this weird little psychedelic, kinetic world that Pariah Interactive has clearly crafted with love, while arcade mode is available for the technical speed freaks. I’m thinking the best way to enjoy the rest of this game is to roll out of bed in pyjamas, pour myself milk over a bowl of offensively sweet cereal, and vibe out like 1000 Deaths is the streaming era version of Sunday morning cartoons of our bygone youth.
1000 deaths is the baby between mario galaxy and psychonauts. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ some of the platforming gets me upset but in like a celeste kinda way. U wanna keep playing it regardless of how many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deaths you get. 10/10 would play again. It is a better game than bad rats.
1000 Deaths is a delightful and creative indie title that blends vibes, decision-making, and platforming well. The availability of a main, story-driven mode and arcade mode was a smart choice, allowing the game to cater to both the casual player and the speed running sickos. There’s truly nothing like 1000 Deaths, and I give credit to such creative characters and world. Despite the games’ whacky nature, the decisions characters face in their Headspace are ones we face with often in real life. It is worth noting that the game is not for everyone (is any game really for everyone though?). The graphics and gravity-defying twist and turns, while unique and colorful, may give some with sensory sensitivity pause. Others may be turned off with some of the tougher challenges. Furthermore, some don’t go for arcade-style game play. But again, these are just caveats because the world is full of diverse gaming preferences! I recommend 1000 Deaths to anyone that seeks games with unique art styles, appreciate a good 3D platformer--but don’t mind a twist, and is patient enough to live through many lives to see the fruits of their labor. Because if you are, this game is very rewarding.
