About
1000 Deaths is a gravity-bending 3D platformer where your choices matter. Encounter several unique platforming hubs based on the decisions you make. Switch between 4 playable characters as the story progresses and follow them from birth to death.
Run, jump, and dash across walls, floors, and ceilings because gravity reorients itself as you play. Encounter a variety of cerebral puzzles and action-packed challenges. The only constant is the constantly changing gravity!
Play as one of four whimsical characters and help them make life-altering decisions. Build friendships, become a rockstar, rule as a corporate bigwig, or mess up your love life! Your choices also define the mechanics of the platforming levels you run into.
Interact with a world populated by talking egg yolks, sentient squiggles, and mysterious beings in purple suits. Explore sleepy Nowherestown and glitzy Jollywood, meander through the psychedelic Headspaces to find hidden collectibles and bonus levels.
You can speedrun through each level of 1000 Deaths and earn trophies! Try to get the fastest time in the 45+ Arcade levels. Or, play at the pace you want.

Seemed cool but it's unplayable, the camera doesn't help at all be it auto adjust (that is way worse) or not, the physics outside of the levels is basically random and in the levels isn't much better, which would be fine if the game didn't ask for precision, something that the game clearly doesn't give you at all. And maybe even more important, the jetpack, also because of physics problems mentioned before, not only is more an obstacle than an advantage, but it doesn't matter if you press both buttons to go up at the exact same time, the game randomly decides if it gives you that or if it makes you boost forward. I've played a ton of 3d and 2d platformers that works around shifting physics, and no, the game is objectively imprecise. And people complain a lot about Sonic 06 physics, ah, way more coherent than the one from this game I can assure you, and more fun to see it going haywire. I hope it gets fixed in the future, but I feel it's unlikely
Did I die? Where am I??? Don't let the cute characters deceive you . . . these levels (upside down, or right side up?) are to DIE for. Shenanigans be happening in this game. Clearly was a lot of fun to make, and is a BLAST to play. Loving the different art styles rendered during the TV broadcast sessions. An ode to sophisticated doodles. Dying over and over again. Getting attached to the four main characters. Dying some more. It's DRAMATIC. You're gunna love it.
Had to refund, about 6 missions in the physics are nearly impossible to work with to get through a level and I'd consider this unplayable at that point, the camera also doesn't help. I'm all for hard levels but they have to have some design logic to them that at least makes them doable, between the random platform physics, gravity not working reliably, no 'true north' guidance so you never know exactly where you're supposed to be going, and the difficulty of the levels themselves I can't recommend this unfortunately. The core art style and decision making is interesting in itself, too bad the game play doesn't match.
The creative levels and gravity changing make this delightfully tricky
Fun platformer with a surprisingly large scope. Gameplay feels like a challenging Mario Galaxy, while the style is like a wild mix of ToeJam & Earl and late-’90s Nickelodeon. Features interesting characters in a unique, imaginative world.
Digging this a lot so far - feels like a throwback to classic 3D puzzle platformers, and it's got very cool grunge atmosphere that reminds me of Psychonauts and Sludge Life. Worth checking out!
The platforming is a lot of fun! I find them very addictive even if I'm not the best at platforming. I definitely want to keep playing to finish all the levels. Also the art style and music is so good! It stands out from other video games I have played.
1000 Deaths was unlike anything I've played, the trippy visuals were so unique. The world is so different that you just keep playing to learn more about this wacky world and characters. I highly recommend anyone check this game out even if you're not a fan of 3D platformers, just for something so unique that I've never seen before.
As a 3D platformer fan, 1000 Deaths is a nice twist on the genre! Its visuals give a nice 90s throwback feel and I'd highly recommend everyone check it out!
