Zombie City' is a zombie shooter in which you have to kill zombies (no surprises there!) It is all set in what I presume is a low-poly asset flip city build that (to be fair) is quite a size. You get full locomotion and snap turning, oh, and it only costs £0.79 full price. What? You want more details? Well, that is tough because that is all you get here. No score, no game modes, only one type of gun and zombies with zero AI making them pretty much harmless. This is more an idea of a game than something you can actually play, but I could see this being fun with a few improvements. Just chuck in some different weapons, maybe some vehicles and give the game some point or challenge (oh, and get rid of that annoying music, or at least give volume control) and it would be worth the money. But until then I simply can't recommend it, but I did love exploring the city! Gameplay video - https://youtu.be/26j9LdL-ihg

Warning: Asset Flip!
Zombie City is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The Russian "developer", Quarlellle/GRAY FLAMINGO (he's trying to hide his identity with the Gray Flamingo fake/shell account), took the POLYGON - City Pack game assets from the real developers, Synty Studios, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Quarlellle/GRAY FLAMINGO has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping Synty asset packs onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Crazy Truck" = POLYGON - City Pack developed by Synty Studios
"Zombie VS Police" = POLYGON - City Pack developed by Synty Studios
"Crime City" = POLYGON - City Pack developed by Synty Studios
"Cats War" = Polygon Town Pack developed by Synty Studios
"Rescue Helicopter" = POLYGON - City Pack developed by Synty Studios
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "POLYGON - City Pack" is just a low poly asset pack for use with Unity and Unreal 3D games, combined with a stock Unreal Engine VR FPS blueprint, and some Zombie assets (also stolen from Synty), and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. They give indie developers a bad name. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Quarlellle/GRAY FLAMINGO.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
yeah, it's an asset flippin bad game what did you expect from 50 cents? did you even watch the trailer?
It should be free. but the music is busin!
Amazing combat 10/10
.
This game is fine, but defiantly could use some work. Many VR shooters, especially indie ones, fall into the same traps so i understand, and for $0.99 its well worth it, but it could use work. such as 1: Death sound is very generic, and could defiantly use some blood sounding effects. 2:PLEASE add a settings tab to turn down the music. 3:Gun sounds and bullet looks are plain and boring honestly. i would suggest using a reflect effect with a gold texture, witch can be done in Blender. finally: add some more guns. So to Gray Flamingo, this game could have a lot to it, reach out if you want any help in critiques or maybe even Blender stuff. kind regards -DukeRBK

game is a 10 out of 10 feels like a free mobile game if you where the person in the mobile game the zombies are very easy to kill and they pose basically no threat to you is my only complaint, also you can change the volume of the music its very loud and no settings menu to let you change it also zombies do so little damage to you if they somehow manage to hit you it wont do much
