Game doesn't even run on a i9 14900k, zero issues on an i9 9900k but anything modern is a no go.

Crashes constantly, basically unplayable. Apparently the issue is that it doesn't run on modern computers. Tried various fixes, still crashed every couple minutes.

Zombie Army Trilogy is a selection of three relatively short games spun off from the Sniper Elite game franchise, where instead of just shooting nazis, you're shooting undead nazis. The games range from 2013-2015 publication dates making this effectively 11-13 years old, but carry full AAA pricing which is where we immediately run into problems. Now, the gameplay here is not bad, but is extremely repetitive... you have to like being the sniper in FPS games, but also hate PvP. But also this is designed almost exclusively for co-op multiplayer (there are some settings for single player, but it's as much fun as playing Pong by yourself), at the same time, this is well over a decade old and there's no players or viable matchmaking feature. You're not going to get a game with other players, despite the co-op focus, so that's a fail. Gameplay itself features either bland assault maps or a campaign mode where you plod through some rather uninspired wartorn Europe maps full of zombies in nazi uniforms. There's a whole bunch of characters to choose from but these all just come across as different skins more than contributing anything to differentiating the repetitive "shoot the zombie in the head" game loop. While this is heavily dated, one thing they did do right was fix up the visuals... you've got full 4K support and a reasonable enough number of graphics tweaks, although there are some serious issues with the game working on modern gaming PCs, and it's unmaintained. I didn't experience any issues, but your mileage may vary, as they say. So for the age, it's aged well, the problems are not purely in the visual aspects of the technical implementation. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. Is this game one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Zombie Army Trilogy has the almost unethical, full AAA price of $45 USD, for which you could easily get any number of new release AAA games. [b]Note:[/b] The developer has colluded with Tencent backed interests to withhold some of their games from Steam in a brazen act of anticompetitive behaviour in exchange for financial compensation, in other words, bribes. This is harmful to gamers and to the gaming industry, and is completely unethical behaviour intended to cause this harm for short term profit. While games absolutely should be considered on their own merits, as I have in my review above, gamers must be cautious when buying games from unethical developers like this. There's no telling when they will accept more bribes and pull their games off Steam again... they've done it once, they can't be trusted. Gamers have a right to know about this. If you buy this game you may be putting your money at risk. The quality problems and defects with this game, combined with the developers directly gamer hostile, anticompetitive behavior makes the asking price totally unrealistic. It's impossible to recommend this to gamers here on Steam.

Having played a few games from the Sniper Elite series and then Strange Brigade, I thought this would be a tough nut that’s easy to crack. HELL NO! This game throws you into a world infested with zombies that have superpowers even a Left 4 Dead zombie would envy. Even though the shooting is satisfying, the game doesn't give you a second to breathe (unless you hit a safe room). You have to keep moving if you don't want to get picked off by a Super Elite or a Sniper, eaten by skeletons and regulars, or blown up by a Suicider. You have to watch out for those Suiciders the most, because they’ll put you in the dirt instantly. You also really have to think about which SMG or assault rifle you pick, because you'll be using it a lot. The STG-44 is the best choice if you want accuracy. Even though the game was pretty exhausting in some parts, I still enjoyed it. Rebellion knows how to make "Sniper" games right, and this concept never gets old.

Basic nazi zombie war
