Zof

Possibly one of the best first-person puzzle games I've played as of recent.

Brilliant game, absolutely the best puzzle game I have played in years. As a big fan of Myst, I have to say, Zof has no story line, and is a better game imo because of it. Zof is practically perfect in every way, you should buy it. A big thumbs up to the devs, well done, I look forward to Zof 2.

Overall a decent game with some nice puzzle ideas most of them fair. Some of them are not that well executed, have slow animations and the mouse hover is finicky. Some of the puzzles were annoying ([spoiler]the gear puzzles in the sky[/spoiler]) or [spoiler]the second part of the desert that you needed to free the clouds again to activate the deflectors[/spoiler]. Also sometimes there are bugs like [spoiler]again in the second part of the desert the doors reopen after being solved[/spoiler] or collision maps are not good [spoiler] so you can get stuck under the non moving windmill and over one of the bridges over the river[/spoiler] so I had to restart the game in those cases, without losing progress though. A lot of refinement is needed and the graphics and environments seem a bit stitched-up from different works and lack the cohesion that a player would expect. No story of course which is a matter of preference. Definitely give it a try especially during a discount like I did.

It's good.

I really appreciate this kind of game that gives no clues and lets you figure it out all by yourself. But in this case, the rules become more and more random as you advance in the game. I can recommend it if you find the game on sale.
