About
Zoeti is a turn-based roguelite that features a deck of playing cards used to create card combos and activate skills in the heat of battle. Bolster your arsenal of skills through battles, discoverable upgrades, or aid from the locals which enhance your plays to overcome the evil plaguing your land.
A once peaceful land, now overrun by monsters. You, a Star-Soul hero, are among a select few blessed to raze the land of evil.
In Zoeti, you are equipped with a deck of playing cards, with which you play card combinations (pair, full house, royal flush, etc.) to activate skills that will attack or defend against enemies. Further bolster your arsenal of skills and upgrades through battles and discovery. The blood of a dead god congeals into monsters roaming the countryside, threatening devout townsfolk and the simple lives they lead. Will you, a Star-Soul hero, protect them from the ravages of evil?
You'll need to crack open the enemy's defenses, bolster your grit and resolve, all while outsmarting the underhanded foes you face. Use your deck of playing cards to activate skills, attack foes, and defend yourself with card combinations, such as two pair, a full house, or straight flush. Through battle, discovery, and clever decision-making, you'll upgrade and enhance your build to complete the toughest challenges Zoeti has to offer.

Verdict
👍 Recommended I only played Zoeti for about 10 minutes and quickly realized it’s not my cup of tea, but I still recommend it. The soundtrack immediately stood out as genuinely good, and even without voiced dialogue, the story presentation looks like it could be at least somewhat interesting. Gameplay-wise, this is a turn-based roguelite built around poker-style card combos, so if you like card battlers with runs and build synergy, it will likely click for you even if it didn’t for me.
My history with the game

Tried it briefly
Played around 10 minutes
Realized it’s not for me
Still recommending it for the right audience

Quick signals
💸 Value: ☑Good for card battler fans 🖥️ Requirements: ☑Light 🎨 Graphics: ☑Clean 2D style ⏱️ Length: ☑Short story, replayable runs 📖 Story: ☑Present, even without voice acting 🎮 Difficulty: ☑Can be challenging 🐛 Bugs: ☑Unknown (I barely played)
What I liked

Really strong soundtrack and atmosphere
The story seemed promising even without voice acting
The core idea of poker-hand combos is unique for the genre

What didn’t work for me

The whole card battler and roguelite style just isn’t my thing
I knew very fast that I won’t stick with it

Is it an endless game? How long to beat?
It’s not truly endless in the sense of having no finish, because it has a story you can clear. But it is roguelite and run-based, and it also has additional modes that can keep you replaying if you enjoy the systems. Public playtime estimates commonly show:

Main story: about 6 hours
Main plus extras: about 9 hours

Who will love it

Players who enjoy roguelite card battlers and build crafting
Anyone who likes the poker-hand twist on combat
People who care about soundtrack and vibe in indie games

Replay value

For me: none, because the genre does not hook me.
For the target audience: high, since it’s run-based and designed for repeated play.
The art and dialogue comes off as charming, but in a crowded genre, this one ends up very mid. The twist is that it uses poker cards, but it's a bit under-baked. Hard to recommend.
Zoeti puts a fresh spin on card battles, leaning heavily into a poker-like strategy. While the soundtrack can feel repetitive and some character visuals are reused, the gameplay itself remains enjoyable and engaging.
The art style is really nice, has a bit of a Final Fantasy vibe to it. Unfortunately, the UI and Combat System make it, so half of the time, you don't know what's going on exactly. Why did I just lose 45 HP on that turn? Why is the enemy went from 3x5 to 72x2? Nothing is clear and efficient. On top of that, I wanted to give it one last try, so I started a game with the mage - for absolutely no reason, after a fight - the game sent me to the main menu and whenever I click "Continue Game" it just brings me back to the main menu again.
I've actually got a bunch more hours on the epic version, just coming here to drop a recommendation since I happen to also own the game on Steam. Obviously, this game is a clone of Slay of the Spire. But! Zoeti is different enough and has cool enough mechanics that I can easily look past that! And I can also look past the occasional bugs and awkward translation. (I haven't noticed any bugs yet that affect the battles at any rate, though a lot of the ability/item text may be misleading at first read). I will concede that I recommend playing Slay the Spire above Zoeti, but if you loved Slay the Spire and got bored of it, Zoeti is a great change of pace that can easily give you another dozen hours of enjoyment. The only issue that the game sorely failed to explain is that the Mediation upgrade for adding a charge to skills is useless until much later in the game, when you start unlocking relevant cards.

This is awful rogue deckbuilder. It doesnt feel like deckbuilder but more like rpg with card gimmick. Deckbuilder are meant you pickup card, add it to your deck and make synergy with other card, commonly start with 10 card then at end of game, you should have 30+ card in deck. But this is not it, this game using poker mechanic, flush, full house etc. That means you not building a deck at all, the card already there from beginning. You just choosing card effect/mechanic to those poker. So you start with already 30 card in hands then choose wether full house have draw card effect, defend or attack. This is awful. Less flexibily less free choices. Deckbuilder roguelike are fun because you can pickup the most bizzard card and experiment with your run, but this game just simply add number to your defend/attack until enemies dies.
