# Zero Punctuation: Hatfall Review — Absurd, Fast, and Surprisingly Addictive Zero Punctuation: Hatfall - Hatters Gonna Hat Edition is exactly the kind of game that looks ridiculous at first glance, and then somehow becomes way more fun than expected. At its core, Hatfall is simple: hats fall, you catch them, chaos happens. That is the pitch, and honestly, the game knows it. It does not try to pretend it is bigger or deeper than it is. Instead, it takes one very silly idea, wraps it in sharp comedy, weird timing, quick reflexes, and Zero Punctuation-style absurdity, then keeps escalating until the whole thing becomes strangely addictive. The best part of Hatfall is how immediately playable it is. You can understand the basic idea almost instantly, but the game keeps throwing enough nonsense at you to stay entertaining. It is fast, readable, and funny in a way that fits the Zero Punctuation brand perfectly. The jokes, visual style, and general attitude all feel like they belong together. What makes it work is that the comedy is not just sitting on top of the game. The entire design feels like a joke that became an actual arcade game. It is intentionally stupid, but in a smart way. Every mistake, weird animation, sudden interruption, or ridiculous moment adds to the experience instead of feeling random for no reason. The game also has that strong “one more try” energy. Runs are quick, failure is easy to laugh at, and improving feels natural. It does not need a massive open world, deep story, or complicated systems. It just needs timing, reaction, comedy, and hats. Somehow, that is enough. It is not going to be for everyone. If you do not like Zero Punctuation’s humor, the style may not land. If you need a long, serious, feature-heavy game, this probably is not what you are looking for. Hatfall is short, silly, and very specific in tone. But that focus is also why it works. For stream or video content, this is a great little hidden gem. It is easy for viewers to understand, fast enough to keep momentum, and weird enough to create reactions. The yellow visual style, absurd premise, and comedy timing make it stand out immediately. My verdict is Hidden Gem. Zero Punctuation: Hatfall - Hatters Gonna Hat Edition is a great example of a small comedy game that actually understands how to be fun. It is simple, chaotic, funny, and much more addictive than it looks. It is not trying to be a masterpiece. It is trying to make you catch hats while everything gets increasingly stupid. And somehow, that makes it great. Final Verdict: Hidden Gem

fun
PRAISE RONDO.
This game is like my potato soup, Just stuff moving from left to right without ever knowing where is right and where is left. But in basic you play the role of goofy guy who collect hats like its some sort of badge of honor. while trying to dodge whatever some random superhero thats behind the screen throws at you. Seriously who can throw a piano. Also you will have to dodge stop signs like that one time you went home drunk and you had to stay still because the sign menacingly stared at you saying stop. + the random event minigames are fun as much as peeing in morning, like you know where it's going but the hell you ain't know how it end up. 10 out of 10 dentists recommends this game. _____________________________________________ In all honesty i still hope Yahtzee still owns rights to this kind of stuff. He fcking deserve it. Can't wait for 2nd game with the visuals of Fully ramblamatic series.
I hate just how addicting this super simple premise of a game is. I'm not sure if people who aren't fans of Yahtzee's humor will find as much enjoyment in it as i am but i would still recommend it to all
A classic case of "less is more" with a lot of great jokes about the game industry.
My hero is a fedora tipping video game critic 10/10
Only one word. Hatchan
Love Yahtzee but the game was meh and requires a lot of grinding
